This video goes back to Oingo Boingo, a group with
an interesting history that dates back to 1972 and was originally formed as
musical theatre troupe by Richard Elfman. He turned over the reins to younger
brother Danny Elfman and eventually they made the cult movie Forbidden Zone
which some revere as the greatest cult movie ever made. 1995 saw the end of
Oingo Boingo but frontman Danny Elfman has since found great fame as a Hollywood
film scorer. This song, Insanity, is one of their better later songs off of the
album Boingo.

Album Review: This is Oingo Boingo's
most mature album, and it's also the darkest in terms of the texture and the
lyrics. People who degrade the album, touting it as trying to do nothing more
than copy or rip-off other bands or styles of music, are totally daft. The album
is totally unique to everything I have ever heard. Elfman doesn't need to rip
anyone off. He's a creative genius. Listen to this album and the sublime lyrics
