Wondering what there is to do this week? We’ve got a few ideas. Learn how to make herbal soaps, rock out to a Hall of Fame band or tour World War II bombing planes.

Soap making

Make herbal soaps using infused oils at a class from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Cait Caughey will instruct this craft-making class at The Big Garden, 5602 Read St. Material provided. The program is a City Sprouts and the Big Garden initiative. Admission is free.

Movie in a park

Take a blanket to Turner Park at Midtown Crossing for its Monday Night Movies featuring “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” The park opens at 5 p.m. for seating. Science Café

Learn about the health of Nebraska’s rivers, lakes and streams during a Science Café presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Alan Kolok, director of the Nebraska Watershed Network and professor of biology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, will discuss what is found in Nebraska’s waters. See Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Blondie Wednesday at Stir Cove in Council Bluffs.
