CAA Television Co-Head Adam Berkowitz Is Out

A source confirms he is no longer an employee of the agency.

Longtime CAA co-head of television Adam Berkowitz is no longer employed at the agency, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

A source close to the agency tells THR that the exit is related to a violation of company policy that occurred Sept. 15 during the agency’s Emmy weekend party at Rose Cafe in Venice; however, a source close to Berkowitz says the alleged violation did not occur there.

The incident is said not to have involved another employee. Per multiple sources, Berkowitz was not in the office late last week as the matter was being investigated.

Berkowitz had been a veteran in the agency’s TV department, which boasts more than 150 active packages across all platforms. His clients included Beau Willimon, Doug Ellin, Rene Balcer, Alfred Gough, Greg Garcia and Kenya Barris, for whom he was key in negotiating both the ABC exit and the Netflix mega-deal.

CAA declined to comment.
