Koshie Mills New Television Talk Series Launch ‘The Diaspora Dialogue’ Ignites Conversations Between Africans

Creator and Executive Producer Koshie Mills premiered her new talk series, The Diaspora Dialogues with an exclusive intimate launch event that took place on Tuesday, October 23rd, at the luxurious Viceroy L’Ermitage hotel.

The evening set the tone with Hors d’oeuvres, Afro-beats and traditional African bites.

The first episode of The Diaspora Dialogues, starring Grammy-award winning musical artist Estelle (American Boy) and Pan-African Digital Strategist Suede titled, “Who Do You Think You Are?” was screened to a captivated audience of friends, family and influencer guests; Malinda Williams, Constance Ejuma, Estelle, Kwame Boakye, Kwame Boateng, Kofi Siriboe, Kwesi Boakye, Stephanie Coker, Michael Colyar, , Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing and The Africa Channel. The room was filled with excitement and curiosity further punctuated with a thundering ovation which is the magic of the dialogues.

The beautifully curated evening further fostered an ambiance of electric conversation with a QA panel moderated by host, Koshie Mills alongside guests, Actress Dawn-Lyen Gardner (Chinese and African American) and Actor/Director Kofi Siriboe (1st Generation African) from Queen Sugar, inspired the audience further with their nuanced stories.

Kofi Siriboe elaborates, “You have the instinct to hide yourself before you even know what you’re hiding. There’s a divide created. It’s like there’s a part of me that’s not normal but then I go home and it’s normal.
