LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Caesars Entertainment is cutting jobs at its Las Vegas headquarters to save more than $40 million.

The majority of savings will come from eliminating a percentage of its corporate workforce, open jobs and reducing consulting expenses.

All affected employees will be offered severance and company-paid career consulting, according to a statement provided by the company.

This move comes two months after MGM Resorts said it planned to cut positions to help reduce costs.
