‘Star Trek: Picard’ Trailer: Everything We Know About the New Series

Get ready for Star Trek: Picard.

CBS All Access introduced its anticipated new series, featuring Star Trek legend Patrick Stewart returning as Jean-Luc Picard, in a special 90-minute panel Saturday in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con that spotlighted the entire Star Trek universe.

“These past few years, I really tried to belong here, but it never truly felt like home,” Stewart’s character muses in the new trailer, which sees him encountering a strange young woman with potentially dangerous powers and finding new faces and old friends as he returns to “save the universe.”

Joining Stewart onstage for Picard was co-stars Alison Pill, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera and Harry Treadaway, as well as the executive producers behind the series, Kurtzman and showrunner Michael Chabon

The panel also announced the return of Star Trek legends Brent Spiner, Jonathan del Arco and Jeri Ryan, who will all appear on Star Trek: Picard.
