Hasbro Buying Entertainment One for $4 Billion

Hasbro Inc. (HAS – Get Report) said Thursday it’s acquiring Entertainment One Ltd, (ENTMF) for $4 billion in cash.

The toy maker will pay £5.60 ($6.86) a share for the company, roughly a 30% premium to is 30-day weighted average price.

Entertainment One is a UK-based content provider responsible for Peppa Pig and other video and film properties.

Shares of Hasbro fell $4.55, or 4%, to $ 109.80 in after-hours trading.
