October 17 Arts and Entertainment Source: Always Something To Celebrate

The Benicia Rotary Club announced the names of some of those who would receive money raised at their August Golf Tournament with the Native Sons of the Golden West. Those included the girls and boys soccer teams at Benicia High School, the girls golf team at Benicia High, the Benicia Outlaws softball team and the Wolf Pack Cub Scout den. All of those helped make the tournament a success this year, which raised approximately $20,000. The Tournament has raised more than $60,000.

The club also recognized those who supported the Tournament, including Leah Shelhorn, the Valero Benicia Refinery, Ponder Environmental, Republic Services, Amports, Elviarita’s Restaurant and High End Uniforms, in addition to the Native Sons, who provided a dinner celebration at the end of the event.
