Saginaw African Cultural Festival announces virtual entertainment lineup

SAGINAW, MI — The 52nd Saginaw African Cultural Festival will take place virtually and event organizers have announced the entertainment lineup.

The virtual festival is scheduled to take place Friday, Aug. 14, through Sunday, Aug. 16.

The festival, a celebration of African culture, heritage and art, which normally features live music and entertainment, food, vendors and more, has moved online because of the threat of coronavirus and COVID-19. Instead of gathering together in person, viewers are invited to tune in via Facebook Live all three days.
