Why Sophie Rain Donated $121K of OnlyFans Earnings to Feeding America

Adult content creator Sophie Rain is breaking down her reasoning behind donating $121,000 of her OnlyFans subscription earnings to Feeding America.

“I didn’t want to keep a single dollar of that money,” Rain, 21, said in an exclusive statement to Us Weekly. “If I can turn attention from my content into food on someone’s plate, then I’m going to do it every time.”

Rain shared a screenshot on Sunday, October 26, of her September payout from OnlyFans — which reportedly included more than $151,000 in gross income, $121,116 in net — alongside an alleged thank you note from Feeding America’s Chief Development Officer, Casey Marsh.

“Thanks to you guys we were able to raise $121,000 on my OnlyFans to feed the homeless in America!” she wrote via X at the time. “That’s 1,210,0000 [sic] meals to families in need, couldn’t have done it without you guys!”

Christian Model Defends OnlyFans Content After Making $43M Last Year

Feeding America has not publicly confirmed the donation. Rain explained that the organization is “one of the few” that she trusts “to stretch every dollar,” adding, “I wanted to help real families, in my country, in real time.”

Rain explained that she launched the #GoonForGood campaign in September for her birthday, but it has since transcended that.

“This started as a birthday idea, but it’s grown,” she said. “People who never even heard of OnlyFans before told me they donated too. That means something.”

While Rain received some backlash online, Rain noted that she doesn’t let the haters get to her.

“Some people called it weird. Some laughed. But the result is 1.21 million meals. I’ll take that
over their approval any day,” she said, before addressing the negative discourse of the adult content industry becoming involved with charities. “The stigma doesn’t feed anyone. If someone’s hungry, they don’t care where the help comes from. They just want to eat.”

Why OnlyFans Star Sophie Rain Is Exiting Bop House

For Rain, this is not her last initiative in giving back.

“I’m not done. This wasn’t a stunt. It’s a model. We make so much money in this industry. It’s
time more of us did something useful with it,” she said. “Grateful for everyone who made this possible. The meals are real. The love is too.”

Rain made headlines in 2024 when she claimed that she made a whopping $43 million in a year, and shared that her family has been “very supportive” of her endeavor.

“I didn’t tell them when I started it. At first, I kind of kept it a secret, and then they found out and they were upset,” she told People in an interview at the time. “I was kind of nervous at first because I wasn’t sure what they were going to think of me as, if that makes sense.”

She added, “I just told them straight up that, ‘I post content online, this is what I do. If you can support me or you don’t support me, and I’m sorry, but I can’t help you guys.’ But regardless of the situation, they didn’t care. I’m their child and they love me.”
