Britney Spears deactivated her Instagram account amid a public battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
A message appeared on the account held by Spears, 43, on Sunday, November 2, that read, “The profile you’re looking for doesn’t exist.”
Us has reached out to a representative for Spears for comment.
The deactivation comes after a string of controversial claims from Federline regarding Spears’ behavior while raising the pair’s two children, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.

The news also comes less than one week after a restaurant manager exclusively told Us that the singer was not acting erratically while out for dinner in Westlake Village, California — despite a report from the Daily Mail that claimed otherwise.
Additionally, an Instagram post shared by Spears on October 7 sparked concern after the pop star was seen with apparent bruises on her arms and bandages around her wrists.
Spears’ caption on the video included details of how she had “fallen down stairs” at a friend’s house and also offered insight into her headspace. “My boys had to leave and go back to Maui. This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven,” the caption read. “I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!!”

Of the stair incident, Spears wrote, “It was horrible. It snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!! Thank u god.”
Spears’ restaurant outing came one day after Federline released his memoir, You Thought You Knew. The book features several damning claims, while the professional dancer’s promotional tour also delved into his allegations.
The Daily Mail had reported that on October 22, Spears and her assistant had dined at the Mexican restaurant before the singer “dangerously” sped back to her home in nearby Thousand Oaks. However, Oliver Wynn, the restaurant’s general manager, exclusively told Us that the recount was not “fair, realistic or true.”
He told Us, “I was there and attended to Britney and her friend. She was super chill and really nice. She was in and out of the restaurant within an hour. She just kind of hung out, grabbed a bite to eat and left.”

Wynn added that Spears sat in the eatery’s lounge and cocktail area where she ordered “a quesadilla and no alcohol” before detailing that “another guest or fan bought her a glass of wine at the bar and brought it over to her table — she was not intoxicated.”
One day after the restaurant outing, Federline appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored where he claimed that Preston and Jayden have distanced themselves from their mother. “[Britney] saw one of my sons one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw,” he told the host at the time. “The other one, Jayden, who’s my younger son, is 19 now. He’s been over there quite a few times over the past year, and he’s stopped seeing her in the last few months because of the situation.”
Federline’s book also claimed that Spears, who was married to him from 2004 to 2007, did cocaine while she was a breast-feeding mother amid other accusations. Spears slammed the book’s allegations in a statement shared with Us by her rep ahead of the book’s launch on October 14. “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism,” the statement read.
