NFL Alum Matt Kalil’s Ex-Wife Haley Kalil Has NSFW Reason for Their Divorce

Influencer Haley Kalil got especially candid about the reason she divorced former NFL star Matt Kalil, insinuating that the size of his manhood was “the biggest factor” in their breakup.

“[This happened] our whole marriage,” Haley, 33, said in a recent Twitch livestream. “I was going to try it all — therapists, doctors [and I] looked up lipo-type s***, you know what I mean?”

She continued, “That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kind of writes itself.”

Matt, 36, and Haley were married from 2015 to 2022. (They got engaged after three months of dating when Haley was just 22.)

“It was, like, he’s .01 percent of the population,” she said on Twitch. “We tried everything [and it was] impossible unless you’re going to be in tears.”

Haley has since reiterated that there was more to their marriage and subsequent breakup than just issues in their sex life.

“I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together,” she told TMZ Sports in a Wednesday, November 5, statement. “During [my] livestream, [I] talked about so much more than what’s being highlighted — the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, the depth of our connection.”

She continued, “It’s unfortunate that only one fragment is being amplified because it doesn’t capture the full story of how meaningful things were to me. “I hope [the] hour and half long conversation reflects more than a funny soundbite.”

Matt, who retired from the NFL in 2019, has since remarried model Keilani Asmus. Haley, meanwhile, is still single and still remains on amicable terms with her former spouse.

“We were married for seven years, and he’s still one of my closest friends,” she said on a June 2024 episode of the “Post Run High” podcast. “Love him to death. He has a baby [and I’m] so happy for him.”

After Haley married Matt, she postponed her plans to apply to medical school and instead submitted herself to Sports Illustrated as a model. Her modeling career eventually led her to the world of social media.

“I never thought when I made an Instagram back in the day, and, like, was choosing my username, and I chose one with like 10 e’s and 6 y’s, and I thought nobody’s ever gonna see it,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in March of picking her “Haley Baylee” username. “Social media came into my life in a way that I never expected. I think it’s coming into people’s lives in ways they never expected because it’s also new. And I think we’re at that time where we’re figuring it out. But I also think at the same time, this world is so much more accessible to people who maybe didn’t grow up in this world.”

Haley further stressed to Us that she’s just so “grateful” to have the platform she does.

“I’m grateful just to have the opportunity to be a part of this world. But I do think that there’s a certain respect that you need to have, and it’s finding that and figuring out the balance between those things,” she told Us. “I think we’re gonna see that in the next couple years. Soon, TikTokers and this world are gonna mesh, and everyone’s just gonna be in entertainment.”
