Denise Richards Addresses Cheating Allegations in Video to Aaron Phypers

Denise Richards is addressing Aaron Phypers’ cheating allegations in court.

Richards, 54, appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday, October, 7, as part of her effort to turn her temporary restraining order against her estranged husband into a permanent order.

During the proceedings, which Us Weekly was present for, a video Richards recorded to Phypers, 53, in August played inside the courtroom.

“I really thought you were my soulmate when we got married,” she said in the clip, which was more than 11 minutes in length. “[Your family] caused a lot of problems, as did your sister and your brother. I cheated? I saw the dick pics you sent and the sites you were on.”

In the video, Richards told Phypers, “You were the one person I thought I could trust.”

“I feel like I was married to someone that I never even f***ing knew,” she continued. “I don’t know you. That’s why I’m having such a hard time. Charlie [Sheen], I knew. Every other ex, I knew. I don’t know you. That’s why this has been so f***ing hard. That’s what I have to come to terms with. I don’t even know who the f*** you are.”

(Richards and Sheen, 60, were married from 2002 to 2006 and share daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20. On September 4, the exes proved they are in a good place when they posed together on the red carpet of Netflix’s aka Charlie Sheen premiere in Hollywood.)

Back in July, Phypers first accused Richards of cheating on him during their marriage.

“The betrayal of discovering that she continued her relationship with Rudy Reyes — while asking me to stay and fix the marriage — was heartbreaking,” Phypers alleged in a statement to Us at the time. “Despite this, I filed for divorce on July 7 due to her ongoing infidelity.”

Richards appeared on the reality show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Challenge where Reyes, 53, serves as a drill sergeant for the celebrity participants. Us previously reached out to Reyes for comment but did not hear back.

Richards lasted less than one episode on the Fox series as she voluntarily withdrew during the premiere after a bridge jump ruptured her breast implants.

During Tuesday’s court proceedings, Richards explained how hurt she was by the divorce from Phypers.

“I believed you and I loved you,” she said in the video. “I really thought you were my soulmate when we got married.”

Earlier in the day, Richards took the stand to testify about the alleged abuse she claims she experienced at the hands of her estranged husband.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum detailed separate alleged incidents of what she claims was Phyper’s abuse over the years, going on to allege that the incidents caused her bodily injuries.

During one alleged April incident on a trip home from Chicago, Richards claimed Phypers was “squeezing [my] head so hard, my back was on the floor of our hotel room.”

“There’s so many incidents,” she later added. “I can’t even count how many incidents Aaron has been physical with me.”

Phypers has denied all allegations of abuse and has subsequently accused Richards of creating false allegations to deflect from her own personal problems.
