Travis Kelce is diving head first, fearless, when it comes to planning his wedding to Taylor Swift.
During the Wednesday, September 17, episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Travis, 35, and Jason Kelce were joined by Jimmy Fallon, who congratulated Travis on opening his new restaurant with Patrick Mahomes, 1587 Prime.
“Are you working on planning the wedding, is that the next move?” Fallon, 50, asked.
Travis replied, “That’s the next step. That one’s gonna be easy, I just gotta figure out winning football games first.”

Fallon encouraged Travis not to stress about planning the special day with Swift, 35, and wondered whether the couple would choose a band over a DJ for their reception.

While reflecting on the milestone on “New Heights” earlier this month, Travis gushed that he still felt “giddy” about spending the rest of his life with Swift. He also shared some words of wisdom for crafting the perfect proposal.
“Man, you gotta know your gal. Or your significant other. You can’t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way. … You might be able to get some ideas from how other people did it, might get the creative juices flowing,” he explained. “I would just say know your partner, know who you’re doing it for and do it for the right reasons, baby.”
A wedding isn’t the only big event in the couple’s future — a source exclusively told Us Weekly following the pair’s engagement that starting a family could be next.
“They absolutely want a family,” the insider told Us. “Their dream is to have kids.”

According to the source, the couple might “not wait too long” to start their next chapter. “[Taylor’s] in a great space in her career and with her success and she can take some time away,” the insider noted.
While Travis is thriving in his personal life, he’s struggling on the football field. The Kansas City Chiefs are officially 0-2 to start the NFL season, losing to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Gotta catch the ball,” Travis said on the podcast Wednesday while reflecting on his team’s performance against the Eagles. “We’re just not executing to the degree that we hold ourselves accountable to. … I gotta be there for my guys, man, they put a lot on my plate to be a good player for this team and I need to f***ing answer that bell, man. 0-2 start is not how you envision the year starting.”
