Dancing With the Stars pro Brandon Armstrong and his wife, Brylee Ivers, didn’t waste any time after falling in love.
Armstrong, who has teamed up with Tinashe, Jeannie Mai, Kenya Moore, Jordin Sparks and more on DWTS, met his spouse online in early 2021.
“I was going on a few dates and they were all lame, They were terrible,” he recalled to People in March 2022. “I downloaded an app that’s similar to Tinder but for our Church to be funny. I was scrolling through and saw her but I was too embarrassed to message her. So, I DMed her on Instagram instead and she ghosted me.”
Ivers, for her part, told the outlet she was “trying to be cool” by ignoring him at first. After talking for one month, the duo went on their first date.
Armstrong put a ring on it in March 2022, and the two wed in Utah that July.
“I bawled,” Armstrong gushed to People after walking down the aisle. “I knew she was obviously gonna choose a dress that was going to be beautiful. And I didn’t have any really defining or super important feelings about what I wanted the dress to look like. I was just happy that it was something that was beautiful and that she felt confident in. Everything was so, so good!”

The duo marked one month married.
“I cant believe it! One month has flown by so fast already,” Armstrong wrote via Instagram. “Looking forward to the rest of life with you! ❤️ love you always.”

Armstrong teased the couple’s future while sharing pics from their Hawaii vacation. “Step 1: Finish an amazing tour ✔️ Step 2: Go on vacation with the wifey to @thewestinmaui ✔️ Step 3: Have a baby … in a few years! 😂 👶🏾,” he wrote via Instagram.

“That was the fastest year of my life! Happy anniversary Bry,” Armstrong wrote via Instagram in celebration of their first year of marriage. “Looking back to this time last year I would have never expected to love you more than I did the day I married you but somehow I do! A lifetime of anniversaries still wouldn’t be enough with you! I love you always ❤️.”

Armstrong called his life with Ivers “perfect” in a heartfelt Valentine’s Day Instagram tribute. “I love you the most and can’t wait for the rest of life with you! Also thank you for giving me all these dance moves👀💃🏽,” he gushed.
Ivers returned his kind words in the post’s comments, writing, “I LOVE YOU!!!! You’re the best thing to ever happen to me. Thank you for being the best person I could ever ask for ❤.”

The couple were hosted by Armstrong’s DWTS season 32 partner Lele Pons during a romantic trip to Italy. “Thank you Lele for inviting us to stay and hang out with your beautiful family. We will never ever forget the memories we made here in Venice!!!” Ivers captioned an Instagram carousel of their vacation pics.

As Armstrong began to compete with Chandler Kinney on DWTS season 33, Ivers made her husband teach her some of the pair’s cool dance tricks and shared their results via social media. “I’m ready for the ballroom but is the ballroom ready for me?” she jokingly captioned one of their tutorials via Instagram.

When asked whether Ivers would ever appear on the DWTS ballroom, Armstrong exclusively told Us Weekly, “Look, she’s ready whenever. She’s warming up like a pitcher in the MLB. She’s in the dugout. She’s ready to go. Give us a call. We’ll make that happen.”

Ivers celebrated the three-year anniversary of Armstrong’s proposal with a photo carousel looking back at the moment.

Armstrong and Ivers reunited after four months of long-distance while Armstrong participated in the Dancing With the Stars’ 2025 Tour.
“88 shows, 69 cities, and 103 days later and….HE IS FINALLY HOME!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” Ivers wrote next to a photo of Armstrong holding her in the air as she carried a sign reading, “Brandon Armstrong’s #1 Fan!!!”
