Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez has found himself in legal trouble after a work trip to Indianapolis.
One day before he was set to broadcast a football game between the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders on October 5, 2025, Sanchez was involved in a physical disturbance with another individual.
According to a statement by the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, one man received lacerations during the altercation, while the other man received injuries consistent with stab wounds.
“Detectives believe this was an isolated incident between two men and not a random act of violence,” police said in a statement.

Indianapolis Police Chief Chris Bailey added, “I don’t care who you are. I don’t care what you do for a living. I don’t care where you live. If you come into our city, commit violence, we will use all the tools that are at our disposal to hold you accountable.”
