Offset is surrounding himself with good energy amid the news that ex Cardi B welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
Days before the news broke that Cardi, 33, had given birth, Offset, also 33, took to Instagram on November 10 to share a carousel of photos of himself.
“Protecting My Energy,” the rapper captioned the post.
Cardi announced on Thursday, November 13, that she had welcomed “a new baby into the world.”
Offset Reacted to Ex Cardi B’s Pregnancy Weeks Before Her Announcement
“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper wrote via Instagram.
In addition to her child with Diggs, 31, Cardi shares daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 14 months, and son Wave, 4, with Offset.
She continued, “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds, me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour, getting my body right, getting my mind right. There’s nothing that’s gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a life time! I’ve learned, I’ve healed, and I’m loving the woman I’ve become! That’s what this next era means to me and I’m stepping into it better than ever.”
Cardi confirmed her pregnancy in September, revealing on CBS Mornings, “I am having a baby with my boyfriend.”
Diggs also subtly addressed the dating and pregnancy rumors during an NFL press conference at the time.
“Oh, my personal life?” he told reporters. “I told you about that. We won’t talk too much about my personal life, but I heard about that.”
When asked if he would celebrate the new addition to his and Cardi’s family in the New England Patriots locker room with his teammates, he responded, “We’ll see.”
Cardi was first linked with Diggs in October 2024, months after she filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 following their years-long on-again, off-again relationship. The Grammy winner rapped about her marriage to the “Walk It Talk It” rapper on her song “Man of Your Word” from her recent album, Am I the Drama?.

“Last time you f***ed up, said I was done / F***ed up again, I took you back, s***, I was dumb / I held back for you, was really biting my tongue / Should’ve fell back from you, instead, I gave you a son,” Cardi says on the track. “I don’t regret it, it’s a blessing / Just know I learned my lesson. … Don’t know if I’m mad at me or you.”
Offset admitted to making mistakes in their marriage during an October appearance on Keke Palmer’s “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast.
“I was definitely not perfect in the situation,” he said. “I made a lot of mistakes. [There’s] a lot of things that I did wrong. She did things that was wrong. … I should’ve respected her way more, you know what I mean? I made bad decisions as a man, like stepping out. That’s why when she left, I had to take that on the chin. I was being selfish, you know what I mean? And I can say that as a man. I’m a grown man.”
