Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have been causing a stir since they were first linked in April 2023.
News broke in spring 2023 that the Kardashians star and the Oscar nominee were spending time together following Jenner’s split from on-off boyfriend Travis Scott. (Jenner shares daughter Stormi and son Aire with Scott, whom she broke up with following the 2022 holidays.)
After Us Weekly confirmed Jenner and Chalamet’s romance that April, a source exclusively told Us that the actor “is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect.”
The couple have become more public as the years have gone on, stepping out at a basketball game in May 2025 and making their red carpet debut that same month. Jenner, meanwhile, was seen in October 2025 supporting Chalamet at a NYC film event.

April 2023
“She’s enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go,” a source exclusively told Us of Jenner’s budding romance with the New York native. “Things are very new so it’s hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees.”
The makeup mogul decided to let Chalamet “take the lead” in their relationship, according to a second insider, who noted, “She enjoys being courted and feels like the more effort he puts in, the more she likes him. At the same time, she appreciates that he doesn’t feel the need to go super over the top with grand gestures just to impress her.”
May 2023
As the duo continued to fly under the radar, a source exclusively told Us that the Life of Kylie alum was “still casually dating” the Little Women star. “It’s not that serious and they’re taking things as they come,” the insider explained. “They both have incredibly busy schedules which keeps them away from each other for lengthy periods of time. That can make it hard to build a solid foundation, but they’re still in communication and open to seeing where things go.”
June 2023
The pair were photographed for the first time together as they enjoyed a day date in Los Angeles at Chalamet’s home. That same week, a source exclusively told Us that some of Jenner’s family has met the Lady Bird actor.
“They really like him and think he’s different from anybody Kylie has dated in the past,” the insider said of Kylie’s relative’s opinion of her new flame. “He has a great sense of humor, and he makes her smile which is the most important thing to them. They love seeing how happy she is and absolutely approve of them dating.”
August 2023
As the summer came to an end, a source exclusively told Us that the duo’s “busy schedules” had been keeping them apart, emphasizing that the twosome’s romance is “very casual.”
“Kylie and Timothée haven’t been spending that much time together recently because they both have very busy schedules. But they’re still communicating on a pretty regular basis and have remained friends despite the fact that they don’t hang out that often,” the insider said. ”They run in the same circle of friends, and have a great time when they’re together, but it’s not that serious. Kylie is having fun and although she’s open to seeing where things go, they’re not in a committed relationship. Things are very casual.”
September 2023
The two were spotted packing on the PDA at Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles and at Haider Ackermann’s NYFW dinner as well as the U.S. Open and Paris Fashion Week. Eagle-eyed fans even noticed Chalamet was Jenner’s phone background.
However, an insider exclusively told Us that the pair were still casually seeing each other. “Although they’re not official yet, they have a really strong bond and spend as much time together as possible,” the source told Us. “Things are going really good and friends think they make an adorable couple.”
November 2023
Chalamet supported Jenner at the WSJ. Innovator Awards, but they walked the red carpet separately. When he hosted Saturday Night Live the following week, Jenner was seen at the afterparty.
December 2023
Us confirmed on December 10 that Jenner quietly attended Chalamet’s L.A. Wonka premiere. “She’s one of his biggest supporters and was so glad she and Kris were able to be there,” a source told Us of the event, noting that things between Jenner and the actor have “become fairly serious.”
Later in the month, fans were convinced that Chalamet was at Jenner’s family Christmas Eve bash after a man resembling him appeared in one of Landon Barker’s Snapchat videos.
“Things are going great between Kylie and Timothée,” an insider told Us after the Christmas party, noting that the pair have been “spending more time together since they both have some free time during the holiday season.” The source noted, “Kylie appreciates how well he gets along with her family because their approval means everything.”
January 2024
While Chalamet walked the red carpet solo at the 2024 Golden Globes, Jenner joined him inside The Beverly Hilton when the awards show began. The pair were spotted looking cozy for the camera, even sharing a sweet kiss at one point.
June 2024
Jenner and Chalamet were spotted on a low-key movie date in Los Angeles, shortly before a source gave Us a status update on their relationship.
“Kylie and Timothée hang out with each other frequently and communicate on a regular basis,” a source told Us weeks later in July. “They’ve gone on a number of dates recently, but they always do their best to try and stay under the radar as much as possible.”
The following December, Jenner was spotted supporting Chalamet at the premiere of his movie A Complete Unknown.
March 2025
Jenner joined Chalamet at the 97th Annual Academy Awards, where they sat in the front row and even shared a sweet kiss.
May 2025
After Jenner attended the 2025 Met Gala solo, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 70th David Di Donatello at Cinecitta Studios in Rome, coordinating in all black. That same month, the pair were seen courtside at the NBA Playoffs between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers.
August 2025
Chalamet missed Jenner’s 28th birthday bash while filming Dune: Part Two in Europe, but he made sure to send his girlfriend love from afar. “Timothée went out of his way to make her feel special on her birthday,” a source exclusively told Us. “He sent gifts, they had a FaceTime call and he coordinated meaningful gestures with Kylie’s friends that made her feel very special.”
Days after celebrating with family and friends in L.A., Jenner jetted off to Hungary where she met up with Chalamet. “They are very much together and don’t need to be in person together every day for it to work,” the insider added. “They adore each other and really make it work even with two busy schedules and sometimes not even being in the same time zone.”
October 2025
Jenner was spotted in New York City supporting Chalamet at the premiere of his movie Marty Supreme. According to a video shared by Variety on October 7, the pair were seen laughing and smiling inside a restaurant after the New York Film Festival event.
December 2025
The pair were on fire in matching orange leather ensembles while attending the Los Angeles premiere for Chalamet’s new film Marty Supreme. The duo packed on the PDA as they walked hand in hand on the red carpet and Chalamet rested his hand on the small of Jenner’s back.
