Jason Tartick didn’t find love on The Bachelorette, but he has won the hearts of Bachelor Nation — and a few lucky ladies over the years.
Following his stint on season 14 of the ABC dating series, Tartick fell for former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. While the pair called off their engagement in 2023, Tartick hasn’t given up on finding his forever person. The New York native, however, has one big requirement for his future partner: They must be a dog person!
“I think my next girlfriend’s gotta love dogs,” Tartick exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2025.
The “Trading Secrets” podcast host noted that some of his other “non-negotiables” are “support, loyalty, honesty through words and actions, consistency with care and respect, and also someone that just wants to just enjoy every aspect of life.”

Becca Kurfin
Fans met Jason Tartick during season 18 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2018, as he vied for Becca Kufrin’s heart. Tartick was eliminated during week 9 of the show.
Kaitlyn Bristowe
Following her stint as the Bachelorette in 2017 — and a broken engagement to winner Shawn Booth in 2018 — Kaitlyn Bristowe started dating Jason Tartick in January 2019. The pair hit it off when Tartick was a guest on Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast.
Tartick and Bristowe moved in together in May 2019 in Nashville and got their first dog together, golden retriever Ramen, one month later. The couple added another fur baby, golden retriever Pinot, to their brood in December 2019.
The pair announced in May 2021 that they were engaged, but they never made it down the aisle. In August 2023, Tatrick and Bristowe confirmed their split.
“After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post.
The exes concluded: “Continuing our friendship is incredibly important to both of us. We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die.”
While Tartick and Bristowe initially coparented their two dogs, Bristowe eventually became the sole owner of the pups.
Kat Stickler
Jason Tartick moved on with comedian and influencer Kat Stickler. The pair were first romantically linked in April 2024 and went public the following month while attending the F1 Grand Prix together.
After six months of dating, Tartick announced via social media that he and Stickler were “no longer together.”
“It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life that works out and other times, it doesn’t. This time it didn’t,” he wrote in October 2024.
Tatrick noted that Stickler “brought me so much happiness and light, she brought out parts of me I never knew existed,” and he would be “forever be grateful for her.” He added that the exes were closing this chapter “amicably.”
Kathryn Hurley
Four months after Jason Tartick adopted his golden retriever Teddy from Wags & Walks Nashville, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in November 2025 that he was dating the organization’s founder, Kathryn Hurley.
Tatrick confirmed his relationship status in December 2025, sharing a birthday tribute to his new girlfriend.
“From the dogs you save every day to the people whose lives you change, you make everything around you more beautiful. Happy Birthday Kathryn!” he wrote via Instagram alongside photos from their time together.
In January 2026, the couple partnered with Tommy John for their Valentine’s Day underwear campaign, posing together.
