Bad Bunny made headlines for his whirlwind romance with Kendall Jenner, but it wasn’t his first time dating in the public eye.
While the rapper likes to keep his love life under wraps, he was in a long-term relationship with Gabriela Berlingeri when his star began to rise.
“I met her at some restaurant, while I was eating with my parents and my brothers,” Bad Bunny recalled to Rolling Stone in May 2020. “We started talking and from there, we continued to see each other.”
After six years together, the former couple quietly split in 2022. Bad Bunny (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) was subsequently linked to Jenner in February 2023.
“It’s not super serious, but she likes him and is open to seeing where things go with him. Kendall appreciates how he treats her with respect and he makes her laugh,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively the following month. “He’s very charming and she thinks he’s a great guy. Although things are still fairly new, she definitely sees potential.”
Later that year, Bad Bunny made it clear in a Vanity Fair interview that he’s “not interested” in speaking publicly about his love life.

Carliz De La Cruz Hernandez
Bad Bunny first started dating Carliz De La Cruz Hernández in 2011. The musician proposed in January 2016, but the duo split in May of that same year, according to a report from AP News. Bad Bunny and his ex briefly reconciled in 2017 before parting ways for good.
Hernández filed a lawsuit against Bad Bunny in March 2023, suing him for $40 million and alleging he used a recording of her saying “Bad Bunny, baby” in two songs without permission, per AP News. According to the suit — which was filed in Puerto Rico — Bad Bunny’s team offered to buy the recording from Cruz for $2,000 in 2022. She allegedly declined and a deal was never reached, but the recording was still used.
Gabriela Berlingeri
Bad Bunny started dating Gabriela Berlingeri after they met at a restaurant in 2017. They remained private for three years before making their first public appearance in February 2020 at a Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks NBA game. The following month, Bad Bunny and Berlingeri made their romance Instagram official.
“I am happy with her,” he told Rolling Stone in May 2020 of their romance. “[People] don’t know she has helped me a lot in emotional aspects when I needed it the most.”
They walked their first red carpet together in 2021 and started posting more frequently together via social media. Bad Bunny even featured Berlingeri on his Un Verano Sin Ti album in May 2022. By the end of the year, however, news broke that the pair had called it quits.
In February 2026, the pair raised eyebrows when they were photographed enjoying a dinner together in Argentina days before Valentine’s Day.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner was first spotted with Bad Bunny in February 2023, initially keeping their romance low-key. By August of that year, their relationship was still heating up.
“Kendall has been getting much closer with Bad Bunny over the past several months,” a source told Us at the time. “Things were more casual when they first started dating, but after a short period of time she saw long-term potential in their relationship.”
In September 2023, the duo proved they were still going strong while appearing in Gucci’s ad campaign together. When Bad Bunny released his Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana album one month later, he appeared to sing about Jenner on some of the tracks.
By December 2023, however, the pair had called it quits.
