Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is settling into her new home in Chocowinity, North Carolina, following her move from Arizona.
The reality star first told fans about her new chapter in December 2024, revealing that she purchased a 156-acre plot of land with her daughter Maddie Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush. Together, the trio founded Taeda Farms, a flower farm devoted to “building beauty from the ground up,” according to their motto.
Since announcing the purchase, Janelle — who split from ex Kody Brown in 2022 — has shared frequent updates on building her new home via social media. She finally moved into the property in March 2026.
“Things are progressing along with my move,” she said in an Instagram reel at the time.

Getting Started
Janelle Brown documented the building of her home from start to finish.
“The floor is in, and framing begins next week! A dream I’d started to believe might never happen for me. Proof that it’s never too late to start a different life ☀️,” she wrote alongside a photo of the plot of land with the home’s base constructed. “Here’s to re-inventing one choice at a time.”
Close to Family
Janelle Brown revealed in November 2025 that her home is a short walking distance away from daughter Maddie Brush, son-in-law Caleb Brush and their children.
“People have asked us about the houses. Here is a door to door look😀,” she captioned a video panning over from her home to Maddie and Caleb’s.

New Kitchen
Fans caught a glimpse of Janelle Brown’s new kitchen when she shared a photo of the sink area, complete with sleek gray marble countertops.
A Home for Spices
Janelle Brown also showed off a small cabinet near her sink that acts as her spice rack.
“This was an option when selecting my cabinets and I love it!” she wrote over a video of the addition.
Laundry Time
In another update in March 2026, Janelle Brown revealed that her laundry room was coming along.
“My washer and dryer finally got installed after three weeks, which felt like a bigger win than it should have,” she wrote alongside a photo of the appliances.
Her Favorite Spot
After finally moving into her home, Janelle Brown shared that her favorite place to spend time is the porch.
“Over the weekend, I found the cushions for my patio set. So I have it now set up on the front porch,” she said in an April 2026 Instagram Reel. “I need to figure out how to make it cute. Like, I’ve got to find some rugs, maybe some greenery that doesn’t require a lot of upkeep.”
Janelle added, “The grandkids have kind of developed a pattern of going back and forth between the houses, but the weather is still so beautiful here. I’m just looking forward to this season of sitting on my porch, watching the kids play and relaxing after hard work. I think I found my favorite place in the house … and it’s not inside.”
