Cole LaBrant is responding to speculation that he and his wife, Savannah LaBrant, listed their Nashville home for sale because of a child labor law passed in the state.
“This is a video that I feel dumb making,” Cole, 29, said in a Wednesday, April 15, TikTok. “Not a video that I would ever usually make, but a video that I feel like I have to make because whenever lies are being said about you and your family, I feel like one of the best things that you can do is tell the truth, state the facts and set the story straight.”
Cole shared that “a lot of people on the internet” have been questioned whether the family’s decision to relocate was impacted by the bill, which was passed earlier this month.
The law requires creators to put earnings from videos with minors who are 14 to 18 years old in a trust account preserved for the child. While children under 14 are prohibited from profiting off their work with the new law, kids between 14 and 18 are entitled to the proceeds made off of their content. Account administrators must also delete content that features minors 14 to 18 if requested.

“I personally feel like our kids and their bank accounts are none of your guys’ business, but if you must know, all of our kids all have bank accounts,” he said. “We have been paying them since day one of making videos, and I can promise you that our kids and their bank accounts are doing just fine.”
Cole then clarified that he and Savannah, 33, are not moving out of Tennessee, noting that they love their community. Instead, the pair is relocating “right down the street” to “be on more acres.”
“We’ve talked about this in the past. I know a lot of you guys know. And that’s it, those are the facts,” he said. “I know that so many of you guys are normal people with normal families. Some of you guys are friends of ours and we just appreciate those of you who follow us and support us and know what our family is about. For those of you who don’t and you’re trying to spread misinformation, then I really have nothing else to say to you.”
Cole and Savannah are parents to five children — daughters Everleigh, 13, Posie, 7, Sunday, 3, and sons Zealand, 5, and Beckham, 23 months — who have frequently appeared in their content. (Savannah welcomed Everleigh with her late ex.)
Everleigh, for her part, has since launched her own social media account with more than 4.9 million Instagram followers. She has also recently dropped her own skincare line, Bev.
