Meghan Markle Hints at ‘Hardest 7 Years’ of Her Life With Astrology Message

Meghan Markle is reflecting on her life with a poignant social media post.

“Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, & Aquarius ending the hardest seven years of their lives on April 25,” read the post that Meghan, 44, shared via her Instagram Story on Saturday, April 25, which featured two men dancing to “That’s the Way It Is” by Celine Dion. (Meghan’s birthday is August 4, which makes her a Leo.)

The Duchess of Sussex continued her astrology journey on Saturday with a second post, which laid out her horoscope for April 25.

“The tension between who you actually are and what the world around you was willing to see has been exhausting in a way that is hard to explain to people who have not lived it,” the second post read. “Your confidence took hits it had no business taking. You questioned your creative direction, your spotlight, your worth.”

Her horoscope concluded, “April 25th, the pressure lifts. You get the space to just exist without fighting for it.”

Royal watchers have speculated that Meghan was referring to the public scrutiny she’s faced since marrying Prince Harry in 2018. The couple stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020 and have since relocated to the United States.

Meghan’s rather telling Instagram posts come weeks after she and Harry, 41, spoke candidly about how social media has impacted their lives during a recent trip to Australia.

While speaking with young people during a visit to Batyr, the mental health charity, at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Meghan said she was “bullied and attacked” on social media every day for a decade. The duchess even referred to herself as “the most trolled person in the entire world” at one point in her life.

What Meghan Markle Has Said About Social Media and Her ‘Influencer’ Status

“Now, I’m still here,” she continued. “And when I think of all of you and what you’re experiencing, I think so much of that is having to realize that you know that industry, that billion-dollar industry, that is completely anchored and predicated on cruelty to get clicks — that’s not going to change. So you have to be stronger than that.”

Harry cosigned his wife’s experience with social media, noting that it’s “led to so much loneliness for so many people,” before sharing his own mental health struggles.

“I waited until I was literally in the fetal position, much older, lying on the kitchen floor,” Harry said. “Until I was like, ‘OK, maybe this therapy thing — maybe I should try it.’”
