Amber Heard is running headfirst into her next chapter in Europe — and celebrating every step of the way.

The actress, 40, gave fans a rare update on her post-Hollywood life in Spain on Monday, October 5, revealing she finished her first half-marathon.

“Eskerrik asko Donosti !💕,” Heard captioned the Instagram post, which translates to “thank you, Donosti,” the coastal city in Spain where she completed the milestone.

She revealed she ran “21 kilometers in 1:39 min!!” and the look of pure joy and exhilaration in her face said it all.

Heard shared three photos from the race, including one of her in stride and one walking at the finish line.

The third image showed the Aquaman star totally spent, but joyful as she raised her arms above her head after completing the marathon.

Heard smiled, laughed and closed her eyes in the snap as she threw her head back in a lilac sports bra and matching bike shorts.

The achievement comes three months after Heard first documented her racing journey via social media.

“First race glow 💕🇪🇸,” she captioned a picture in June, after she finished her first overseas racing event.

The Rum Diary actress began focusing on her new hobby after moving from the U.S. to Spain following her infamous and highly-publicized defamation trial involving ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Trial Reexamined in Netflix Docuseries

Heard and Depp, 63, faced off in court in 2022, after the Pirates of the Caribbean actor sued Heard for defamation in 2019 over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she referred to herself as a domestic abuse survivor without ever naming her ex.

Depp, who was married to Heard from 2015 to 2017, was awarded $15 million in damages after the jury sided with him in June 2022.

Heard chose to move on by relocating to Spain with her daughter, Oonagh Paige, now 5.

“Amber is living her best life,” a source exclusively told Us in June 2023, noting that Heard felt like “a pariah” after the end of her and Depp’s court battle.

The insider added that Heard “has been so much happier” since moving overseas and away from the often unforgiving Hollywood spotlight.

“She’s still recovering from the trauma of the trial, but it’s been so healthy to get away from all the noise,” the source said at the time.

The Drive Angry has since added to her family, welcoming twins, Agnes and Ocean, via surrogate in 2025.

“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year, I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years,” Heard wrote via Instagram that May. “Today, I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang.”
