Jamie Dornan and wife Amelia Warner keep their love out of the spotlight, and they’re still going strong.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star and the musician began dating in 2010 and tied the knot three years later. Their first child, Dulcie, was born in November 2013, with daughter Elva joining the family in February 2016.
During an October 2018 interview with The Sunday Times, Dornan opened up about his and Warner’s bond. He revealed that he and his wife have only had one major argument in their relationship.
“There’s never a day that I don’t tell her I love her,” he said to the outlet. “We get frustrated at times, usually when traveling with the kids, but we’d never let anything boil and become a thing. We know couples who are plate-throwers, but that’s just not us. I’m glad it’s not us — plates are expensive.”
Later that month, Us Weekly confirmed that the twosome were expecting a third baby. Shortly after announcing the news, Dornan gushed about the thrill of expanding their family. “It’s the best aspect of our lives,” he exclusively told Us. “I’m just as excited as I was the first two times.”
The couple welcomed daughter Alberta in February 2019.

While promoting the final Fifty Shades film, Dornan told Ellen DeGeneres that his wife “hasn’t seen” the movies. “I guess I like to think she’s more in love with me than that guy,” he said of his character.

Two years into the global health crisis, Dornan noted that he usually doesn’t spend more than two weeks away from his family at a time. “I have a two week rule,” he told the U.K.’s Radio Times. “Although I broke it last week because I ended up having to stay in L.A. longer than I thought.”

During a January 2024 appearance on Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 4 show, Dornan revealed that Warner was pregnant with their daughter Dulcie when he signed on to do the first Fifty Shades of Grey movie.
“I’m amazed that Millie didn’t just say no,” he recalled while noting that his late father, who was an obstetrician and gynecologist, traveled with the pair to Vancouver, Canada, in case she gave birth. “Fair play to her, what an unbelievable woman to hop on a private jet because we couldn’t fly commercially with my dad on it, because if she went into labor in the sky there needed to be an obstetrician.”
Dornan revealed that Warner gave birth to their daughter three days after they arrived.
