Tish Cyrus has declared she’s “happy” with Dominic Purcell, her first public relationship following her split from Billy Ray Cyrus.
The former couple got married in 1993, but they called it quits for the first time when the country singer filed for divorce in 2010. Tish and Billy later announced their reconciliation.
Two years later, Tish filed her own divorce documents based on “irreconcilable differences.” Shortly after their breakup made headlines, Us confirmed Billy and Tish’s second reconciliation. The duo — who share Miley, Braison and Noah — ultimately parted ways again in April 2022. (Billy adopted Tish’s kids from her first marriage, Brandi and Trace, before their split.)
Tish has since moved on with Purcell, who was previously her celebrity “hall pass,” in July 2022. They got engaged in April 2023 and were married by that August.
While they had a missed connection in 2016, Tish eventually reached out to Purcell years later and their unconventional love story began.
“We go to lunch and make out for like three hours,” Tish shared during a February 2024 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, revealing that she and Purcell shared their “I love yous” one day after their first date.

Purcell DMed Tish on Instagram but blocked her shortly thereafter.
“I had followed him on Instagram and he DMed me and just said, ‘Hey Tish, just wanted to [say], I think you’re super cool and … you’re doing such a great job with your family.’ … I didn’t see it for a year,” Tish said during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in February 2024.
After Purcell messaged her, his ex blocked Tish.

Tish left a series of red heart emojis on Purcell’s Instagram after her split from Billy. In response to a post, she wrote “Hi Babe” with a smiling face with hearts emoji.

The Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer cohost showed her support for Purcell after he shared a throwback family photo.
“It says it all really. 4 kids under the age of four. (think I’m 31 here). Wouldn’t change a thing,” the England native captioned an Instagram snap with his kids Joseph, Audrey, Augustus and Lily Rose, whom she shares with ex-wife Williamson. “Very proud of all my children and being a dad. Best job ever. F—kin hard though.”
Tish replied, “It really does say EVERYTHING.”

An insider told Us that the couple are as happy as can be since going public with their romance. “Things couldn’t be going better for Tish and Dominic. She truly feels like she found her soulmate,” the source said. “Tish wanted to keep their romance under wraps for a little while until she was sure he was the one. However, that didn’t take long and they’ve been inseparable since. She absolutely sees a future with him and feels so blessed that they found each other.”

Tish couldn’t help but gush over the “amazing” Purcell during her “Call Her Daddy” appearance.
“I am living my best life, and he is yummy,” she said, adding that “there is not one second” she doesn’t feel loved by her husband.
