Hannah Ann Sluss moved on from Bachelor Peter Weber with NFL player Jake Funk — and she hasn’t looked back.
While the pair began dating in late 2021 or early 2022, they stepped out for their first official red carpet in July 2022 at the ESPY Awards. Sluss previously exclusively told Us Weekly that the duo were trying to keep their relationship low-key.
“I wanted to wait to share [our relationship] with everyone because it was our decision,” she told Us in April 2022. “We’re very private and, you know, that just seems to be the best for us right now. With my past, things have been public and nothing really necessarily good has come from it, in my opinion. And so keeping things private and just having our own lives outside of social media [makes] it more of a true, meaningful relationship for us.”
Sluss announced in January 2023 that Funk proposed while on vacation in Mexico.

The twosome seemingly started dating in late 2021 or early 2022.
“We met a couple months ago and as soon as we met, we just had an instant connection and basically [we’ve been] inseparable since day one,” Sluss told Us in April 2022. “Just getting to know him and us being together and incorporating our lives together, it’s just been very seamless and easy.”

“After a few short weeks, I met his parents and then he met my parents, and our parents are really close friends now, which is really neat,” she told Us. “But it’s just truly, like, a meant-to-be situation and we’re both very happy.”

Sluss and Funk expanded their family, welcoming a Bernedoodle named Dash together. “Puppy Love is FurReal,” she gushed via Instagram.

After Sluss attended Prewett’s wedding to Grant Michael Troutt without Funk, an insider told Us that the pair are thriving. “They’re going strong,” the source explained, noting that Funk had a football game one day after the ceremony. “He’s been busy with football. She’s been splitting time between Los Angeles and New Orleans. They talk all the time and are making long distance work.”

The Tennessee native shared that the running back proposed via a TikTok video on January 25. “The surprise at the end he had for me 🥹🤍,” she captioned clips of the duo’s romantic date night that ended with her showing off a sparkling diamond ring.

Sluss shared the news that Funk is going back to his roots as the newest member of the Baltimore Ravens practice squad.
“Screaming crying!!! Jake is officially a @ravens!!!! So happy I could cry!!!!” she wrote via Instagram Story alongside a screenshot of their animated FaceTime call. “Baltimore here we come!! We can now live at Jake’s parents house.”

Sluss got the “sweetest surprise” at her Nashville bridal shower when Funk showed up to bring her flowers. “I don’t usually go to bridal showers but when I do, it’s for @hannahann,” Funk teased via Instagram.
Sluss gushed over the moment via her own social media post. “When my fiancé surprises me at my bridal shower I feel it,” she captioned a video of Funk telling the staff, “I’m here for the bride” before kissing her on the cheek.
