Kevin McKidd and Danielle Savre went from playing onscreen work colleagues to starting a real-life romance.
The Shondaland actors were first romantically linked in June 2023 after they were photographed packing on PDA in Lake Como Italy. While it’s unknown when the pair’s romance officially began, the two appeared on the small screen together in multiple Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 crossover episodes — on which they play Owen Hunt and Maya Bishop, respectively. Neither confirmed their relationship status at the time.
Later that month, McKidd and s ex-wife Arielle Goldrath — with whom he shares son Aiden and daughter Nava — finalized their divorce after calling it quits in early 2022. The actor was also previously married to Jane Parker, with whom he shares son Joseph and daughter Iona.he
Savre, for her part, was previously linked to hockey expert Andrew Contis in 2019.

Years before sparking a romantic connection, McKidd and Savre shared the screen for the first time in the Grey’s Anatomy season 16 episode titled “A Diagnosis.” The two would go on to appear in a handful of ABC crossover episodes over the years.

Goldrath officially filed for divorce from McKidd five months after the exes announced their split. According to court documents obtained by Us at the time, Goldrath cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation.

Not long before McKidd and Goldrath ‘s divorce was finalized, the Brave actor was spotted packing on PDA with Savre during a trip to Lake Como, Italy.

McKidd seemingly confirmed his and Savre’s romance by posting clips of their trip to Zambia via Instagram. “A million thank you’s to everyone @chiawasafaris & @howelltalentrelations for the trip of a LIFETIME!” he captioned the post, which featured himself and Savre exploring the African country.
He continued: “Your hospitality, knowledge, heart and humor made our trip to the Lower Zambezi beyond our expectations. Our adventure was breathtaking, awe inspiring, humbling and uplifting, all because of you guys. Simon, Juliet, Nobby, Derrick, Eric and everyone else we met made us feel like family. We miss you and we will be back! Thank you! #chiawacamp, #lowerzambezi #travelpartner.”

The twosome joined their costars, including Camilla Luddington and Stefania Spampinato, at the SAG-AFTRA strike in Los Angeles.

The couple and their blended brood enjoyed a summer getaway in the Dominican Republic.
“Banana boating…tennis in the rain..birthday celebrations, so many magical memories made! Thank you @casadecampodr & @howelltalentrelations,” McKidd wrote via Instagram alongside a series of images from the vacation. The sweet snaps featured the family swimming, playing tennis, banana boating and celebrating Nava’s fourth birthday.
