Stars Who Kept the Identity of Their Significant Others Private

Lala Kent, Lindsay Hubbard and more stars have had partners whose identities they kept a secret.

The Vanderpump Rules star raised eyebrows when she shared a glimpse of a mystery man via her Instagram Story in November 2022 after her high-profile split from Randall Emmett.

After Kent’s new man was identified as Don Lopez, Kent opened up about their unexpected connection.

“His peep and my vagina had a few dates,” she joked on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live in November 2022, adding that they had since called it quits. ”I don’t really want to get to know anyone. I don’t want anyone to get to know me. I want to have, like, amazing sexy time. I want to enjoy your company. But we don’t need to date.”

The former SUR hostess also broke down the reason why her fling with Lopez ended, saying, “Don and I have had a lot of fun in the bedroom, but I posted him for a thirst trap, and then a lot of doors opened to people saying certain things, and now I’ve got to scratch him off the roster.”

Meanwhile, Jana Kramer explained why she initially did not reveal her now-fiancé’s Allan Russell‘s name.

“I don’t know if this is my forever person. … But, like, I’m not going to push away love just because I’ve been hurt before. I’m going to embrace it,” she said during an episode of her “Whine Down” podcast in January 2023. “I’m going to have fun. And if it doesn’t work out, well, you know what? I’m gonna learn a lot of lessons. And I had a lot of fun along the way.”

Lindsay Hubbard
The Summer House star announced in July 2024 that she’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend. Hubbard chose not to name her partner, who is a doctor working in biotech investing.
“He’s, like, unfazed by it. He’s like, ‘[I] respect you and that’s what you do,’ but he doesn’t care about it,” she explained on the “Bitch Bible” podcast one month prior about her boyfriend’s reaction to her job. “He’s successful in his own field and has a great job. He works very hard, is extremely driven and ambitious and, yeah, and keeps me happy in the bedroom.”

Shawn Booth
The season 11 Bachelorette alum announced in July 2023 that he was expecting his first child with a mystery woman.
“I’m gonna be a father. The mother is somebody who I’ve been close with for years. We’ve had a relationship and we’ve dated. This just isn’t some random girl I met at Honky Tonk Central. This is a big surprise for the both of us,” he shared on his podcast. “[To be] open and honest, this wasn’t something that was planned. But it will be and is the most beautiful surprise I’ve ever had in my life.”
Booth continued: “I’ve dated since the show. I’ve dated a bunch of people. I’ve had a girlfriend. I’ve always just kept things very private. Going through [the] pregnancy, and trying to, like, keep it under wraps is obviously tricky. We didn’t tell really anybody. … She told, like, her close family and friends. I waited, probably, 10 to 12 weeks to tell really anybody.”

Jessie J
The “Price Tag” singer revealed in June 2023 that she met her mystery boyfriend nearly two years earlier and “weeks after” she suffered a miscarriage.
“I struggle to keep things private. I think if you know me you know that. I want to protect people I love and keep it for just myself,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories. “And then so often I think f—k it because life is short [and] I don’t want to regret it. Once you open the door you can’t close it.”
She added: “Like a beam of light, he lit up my dark days. It was a whirlwind love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue. Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life.”
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in May 2023 and Jessie loved that her man “didn’t let go of my hand” during her C-section delivery. She added: “I wouldn’t have been able to go through it without him. The calm to my crazy. The peace to my fear. The Daddy to my baby.”

Before her departure from Vanderpump Rules, Doute teased that she was seeing someone new amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I was trying to keep it very under wraps,” she explained on Scheana Shay’s “Scheananigans” podcast in April 2020. “We’re having a really great time and he’s kind of back and forth between his house and mine — and that’s fine because we’re not socially interacting with anyone else.”
