Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff Cozy Up at 2025 Grammys

Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff kept their romance under the radar before confirming their engagement in May 2022.

The twosome were first linked in August 2021 following the Maid star’s brief relationships with Pete Davidson and Shia LaBeouf. The Bleachers singer, for his part, previously dated Lena Dunham from 2012 to 2018.

Nearly two years after Antonoff and Dunham went their separate ways, he was spotted packing on the PDA with Qualley. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress — who is the daughter of Andie MacDowell and Paul Qualley — later joked about the “terrifying” experience of meeting Antonoff’s parents, telling Another magazine in March 2022, “[I thought], ‘Please like me, please like me, this is so important, please.’”

Though she kept mum about her relationship, Qualley told Harper’s Bazaar she’s “always dreamt of getting married” someday. “There’s a girly-girl part of me that’s thought about what my wedding would be like,” she added. “And I’ve dreamt of having kids. I’m a real romantic in that way.”

Antonoff duetted with longtime collaborator Lana Del Rey on a new song titled “Margaret,” which appeared on Del Rey’s ninth album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. “When you know, you know,” the duo sang on the chorus. “It kinda makes me laugh / Runnin’ down that path / When you’re good, it’s gold / ‘Cause when you know, you know.”
In the song’s first verse, the “Born to Die” songstress seemingly recounted Qualley and Antonoff’s first meeting. “He met Margaret on a rooftop, she was wearin’ white,” Del Rey sang. “And he was like, ‘I might be in trouble’ / He had flashes of the good life, he was like / ‘Should I jump off this building now or do it on the double?'”

Antonoff reflected on his “really beautiful” wedding four months after he and Qualley tied the knot.
“Someone told me that when you die and when you get married is the only time everyone you love is in a room,” he joked on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “And I was like, ‘Oh, that is just a thing someone says, and I perform for a living so I don’t mind if the attention is on me.’ And then as soon as it started, my whole body became wet.”
He went on to say the “crazy emotional twist” about love is his biggest takeaway from marriage thus far.
