Several stars are taking the next step in their relationship in 2025 by making things official with their significant other.
Days after the New Year, Zendaya sparked engagement speculation when she was spotted on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet with a ring on her left hand. While inside the awards show ceremony on January 5, the Challengers star continued to wear the jewelry as she posed for pictures — despite taking off her Bulgari necklace.
Rumors were further fueled when the Los Angeles Times reported that Zendaya “kept showing her ring, smiled coyly and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously” after being asked about her relationship status with Tom Holland. (The actor did not attend the awards show.)
One day later, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that Holland had popped the question to Zendaya years after meeting on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016.

Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser
One day after flashing rings at the Cobra Kai series finale premiere in Los Angeles, Buchanan and Mouser confirmed their romance and engagement status in a joint Instagram post. “We’re so happy to finally share that we’re engaged,” the costars captioned pics of themselves at the event on February 13. “This is such a special moment in our lives, the closing of one chapter and celebrating the continuation of another. We’re so grateful for the love and support, and though we’re partial to having our private moments, we’re excited to share this check-in to our world 🖤.”
Este Haim
One third of the Haim sisters announced she is engaged in a February 13 Instagram selfie. Though she did not confirm her fiancé’s identity, the musician sported a large diamond ring on her left hand and a T-shirt which read “I’M TAKEN.”
Lainey Wilson and Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges
The country singer announced her engagement to Hodges via Instagram on February 12, showing off her ring. “4x4xU forever ❤️,” she gushed.
Baylen Dupree and Colin Dooley
The Baylen Out Loud star announced her engagement to Dooley on February 11.
“We’re engaged,” Dupree gushed in a social media video, holding up her oval-shaped ring.
Dupree previously told Us Weekly exclusively that Dooley is “like [her] backbone” amid her Tourette syndrome battle.
“Everything that I do, just being around him helps,” she told Us in January. “He understands me somewhat better than I understand myself a little bit, which is kind of the same way for him. I understand him better [than] he knows himself.”
Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Daniel Humm
The Succession alum and chef announced their engagement on February 6, when Humm commissioned a portrait of Dexter-Jones with a ring on that finger.
“When you know, you know. With you it’s been so obvious,” he captioned an Instagram post. “Never did I imagine someone so special would exist, and you have shown me what true love is. Together, we will be on this journey forever on. Love you.”
Saquon Barkley and Anna Congdon
The Philadelphia Eagles running back confirmed to People on February 2 that he proposed to Congdon after eight years of dating.
“I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have [so far] in my career without the help of her,” Barkley told the outlet. “She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on.”
Days earlier, Congdon and the pair’s two children (Jada and SJ) celebrated as Barkley and the Eagles won the NFC championship.
Sabrina Soto
Soto announced she is engaged via an Instagram post on January 27. “💍 The most unexpected surprise of my life,” she captioned a photo with her fiancé, who friends in the comments section referred to as Nate. “Forever starts now.”
Lo Bosworth and Domenic Natale
The Hills alum announced her engagement to Natale on January 21. “For you, my darling, it could only be a yes,’” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thank you for being the best that one could be, for me. All my love, L.”
Drake Maye and Ann Michael Hudson
Maye revealed via Instagram on January 15 that he had popped the question.
“Love doing life with you,” the New England Patriots quarterback wrote alongside photos from the proposal. “Can’t wait to marry you!❤️.”
Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner
The Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star confirmed his engagement to Conner via Instagram on January 12, sharing a video of himself getting down on one knee to propose.
The reality star — who shares Bentley, 16, with ex Maci Bookout — invited his eldest son to witness the romantic gesture.
Montana Jordan and Jenna Weeks
The Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage star announced his engagement to Weeks via Instagram on January 5. “To the Woman I love most. You are the light of my life, Sweetheart,” he captioned pics of the proposal, which featured rose petals scattered in front of a “marry me” sign.
He added: “I love you to the moon and back a million times and more. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us and our family.” (The couple share a daughter, Emma Rae, born in May 2024.)
Jadejha Edwards and Darian Holt
The Circle season 7 stars announced their engagement on January 1. “Here’s to forever with you 💍,” she wrote via Instagram in a joint post with Holt.
Steve Burton and Michelle Lundstrom
The General Hospital star popped the question to Lundstrom on January 3. “Engaged 1/3/25. ❤️💍♾️,” he wrote via Instagram alongside pics of him proposing. “Jeremiah 29:11. ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
Mike Zimmer and Katarina Miketin
Miketin announced her engagement to the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator on January 3. “Five years ago they told us we needed to meet … God knew what He was doing. I thank Him for you, my best friend …” she wrote via Instagram. “So, of course … I said Yes!”
Zendaya and Tom Holland
A source confirmed to Us on January 6 that Zendaya and Holland were engaged, one day after the actress sparked speculation while wearing a ring on her left hand to the 2025 Golden Globes.
