The Southern Charm stars can’t get enough of each other — and that’s created a dizzying web of relationships, break ups and drama.
Beginning with season 1, which premiered in 2014, OG stars Craig Conover, Shep Rose and Kathryn Dennis let fans see the good, the bad and the messy parts of their romantic relationships.
After Craig crashed and burned with Kathryn, Kathryn hooked up with both Whitney Sudler-Smith and Thomas Ravenel. Kathryn welcomed two children with Thomas before they ended their on-off romance in 2016.
Shep’s relationships have stretched far and wide dating back to pre-show when he was in a relationship with Danni Baird. Shep later romanced Chelsea Meissner — as did Austen Kroll — and Taylor Ann Green from 2020 to 2022.

Austen’s relationship drama has been equally explosive over the years, beginning with his battle to win Chelsea’s heart during season 4. He proceeded to date Madison LeCroy before sparking romance rumors with Taylor ahead of season 9 in 2023.

Danni Baird and Shep Rose
The duo dated before they were cast on the Bravo show. They have since remained friends. During season 6, which aired in 2019, Madison claimed that Danni got chlamydia from Shep when they dated, which they both denied. The hurtful accusation caused a bigger feud between Madison and the rest of the group.
Kathryn Dennis and Whitney Sudler-Smith
Kathryn hooked up with Whitney during season 1 of the series, which aired in 2014, before she started seriously seeing Thomas. Whitney, however, continually denied the romance before he confessed during season 3 to sleeping with Kathryn. The mother of two surprised fans when she revealed during season 6, which aired in 2019, that she and Whitney had hooked up again.
Danni Baird and Thomas Ravenel
The former politician tried to woo Danni during season 1, but she stopped him from kissing her at the end of their one date.
Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel
The duo first hooked up during season 1. They then dated on and off until 2016. The exes share daughter Kensie and son Saint, whom they welcomed in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
Naomie Olindo and Craig Conover
Naomie dated the Sewing Down South founder for three years before calling it quits in 2017. Their ups and downs were front and center on seasons 3 to 5 of the Bravo series. During season 8, which premiered in the summer of 2022, the exes confirmed that they hooked up again in Las Vegas in 2021 and once more in Charleston.
Landon Clements and Shep Rose
Landon confessed during season 3, which aired in 2016, that she had always had feelings for Shep after knowing him for years. “I was getting jealous [of your other relationship]. Well, maybe I love you,” she said during one episode. “I’ve loved you for a long time. Of course, you’ve known.” Shep, however, claimed he “didn’t know” and nothing came of the conversation.
Thomas Ravenel and Landon Clements
During season 3, Landon also got close to Thomas, who was dealing with drama surrounding a then-pregnant Kathryn at the time. Come season 4, the duo’s relationship appeared to become even more intimate, with Patricia Altschul pushing them toward one another.
Landon, however, denied to Entertainment Tonight in May 2017 that she and Thomas were ever romantically involved. “Thomas and I are really good friends,” she said at the time. “I’ve known him forever-ever. He is just more like a family member, an uncle or a cousin or something. We’ve never crossed those lines and we never will.”
Shep Rose and Chelsea Meissner
The RelationShep alum attempted to romance Chelsea during season 4 but was shut down. He tried once more while drunk and again came up with nothing.
Kathryn Dennis and Shep Rose
The “Katching Up With Kathryn” podcast host revealed in 2018 that she and Shep had hooked up multiple times before and after she welcomed her two children with Thomas. The duo’s friendship and flirty relationship has played out on screen for years.
Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy
Fans first met Madison during season 6, which filmed in 2018, when she started seeing Austen. The twosome’s rocky romance lasted two years before their December 2020 split.
Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green
Taylor joined Southern Charm during season 7 in 2020 as Shep’s girlfriend and became a full-time cast member for season 8. Us confirmed in July 2022 that Taylor and Shep split after two years together.
Austen Kroll and Olivia Flowers
Us confirmed in May 2022 that Austen was romantically involved with season 8 newbie Olivia. During the season 8 reunion, which aired in October 2022, Olivia confirmed that she and Austen were no longer dating.
Naomie Olindo and Whitney Sudler-Smith
Naomie revealed during season 8 that she and Whitney made out after the cast’s doggy wedding. “Speaking of the dog wedding, I didn’t tell you, but right after, I did kiss Whitney,” she said during an August 2022 episode, noting “it was fun.” Naomie also confessed: “He spent the night here.”
Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green
Austen exclusively told Us in October 2022 that it would break “bro code” if he dated Taylor after her split from Shep. However, rumors surfaced in early 2023 that the two had hooked up. During an October 2023 episode of the series, Austen confessed to Shep that he did kiss Taylor toward the end of 2022 — and spoke to their families about possibly dating. After denying the makeout happened, Taylor eventually confirmed the kiss to Olivia, revealing the “drunken moment” happened shortly after Austen and Olivia called it quits.
Olivia Flowers and Rod Razavi
Olivia began seeing season 9 newbie Rod in early 2023 after her breakup from Austen in late 2022. Olivia and Rod went on a few dates, which played out on season 9 of the Bravo series. However, following both the death of Olivia’s brother, Conner, in January 2023 and the drama surrounding Austen kissing Olivia’s BFF Taylor coming to light, Olivia and Rod’s romance fizzled out.
“We went through a lot on the show together. We went through a lot off the show. We spent a lot of time together not filming,” Rod exclusively told Us in November 2023. “And I think with the timing and everything that was going on, it just made sense to kind of pull back and make sure we could stay friends. So when I kind of sensed her pulling back emotionally, it was easier [to do the same].” He added that the exes are “good friends” despite pulling the plug on their romance.
Olivia Flowers and Thomas Ravenel
Olivia denied hooking up with Thomas during the season 8 reunion in 2022. However, she changed her tune after Taylor brought it up during the season 9 reunion, which was filmed in late 2023.
“I was fresh out of college, 20 years old. Dumb. [It was a] drunken night. One time,” Olivia confessed during the episode, which aired in January 2024. “I had a hookup with T-Rav. I wanted to take it to my grave, like, who wouldn’t?”
Olivia explained that Taylor was the “only person” she told about the dalliance and insisted that she “didn’t know” Thomas’ ex Kathryn at the time. Olivia added that, as far as she knew, Kathryn and Thomas were not together when she slept with him.
Kathryn, for her part, addressed the controversial hookup in January 2024, telling her social media followers that she and Olivia “have never been closer.” Kathryn, who exited the show in early 2023, insisted via Instagram that Olivia “did nothing wrong.”
Shep Rose and Molly O’Connell
Season 10 newbie Molly made it clear throughout the season that she had a crush on Shep, who was dating Sienna Evans most of the time. However, during the season 10 finale, which aired in March 2025, Shep was single and took Molly as his date to their friends’ summer soiree.
During the party, Molly made her move and kissed Shep. She later leaned in for another makeout session, which all of their friends witnessed. Two hours after the cameras stopped rolling, the producers teased, “Molly’s dry spell ended,” hinting that Molly and Shep had sex. The pair, however, never became a full-fledged couple.
Venita Aspen and Jarrett ‘JT’ Thomas
During season 10 of the Bravo series, which aired in 2025, Venita and JT’s friendship turned to a flirty romance. While they didn’t date on the show, two months after filming ended in summer 2024, they started seeing each other.
“We started dating when I got back from New York in September [2024]. It was from September, October, November,” Venita exclusively told Us in March 2025, breaking down their timeline. “Trying to figure out, ‘OK, are we doing this? Do we actually like each other? Is it because we’re around each other all the time?’”
She said that in November 2024, JT “posted that he had [a] girlfriend on Instagram,” which is when she “found out” he was dating someone else. Venita claimed, “I’ve never had someone do me so dirty,” after JT allegedly cut ties with her shortly after the Instagram reveal — and right after he exited the Bravo show.
Venita called the whole situation “so messy,” revealing she didn’t talk to JT for months after he went public with the other woman. She recalled being more upset when allegations about her being a “homewrecker” surfaced — because of the show’s editing — and JT didn’t have her back.
