Not long after Dorit Kemsley met real estate developer Paul “PK” Kemsley in 2011, romance flourished — but their journey has had its obstacles over the years.
“Well, we met and we didn’t really have our first official date for a couple of months,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recalled during a September 2020 interview with Bravo’s Daily Dish. “We had a few things in common, so we went out as a group. … But [the chemistry] was very clear, very apparent.”
After a whirlwind courtship, Dorit and PK welcomed son Jagger in 2016. The couple wed one year later in March 2015 before daughter Phoenix completed the family the next year. (The England native also has two children from a previous relationship.)
“I’d like to stay married to PK for the rest of my life,” Dorit exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2021. “Even though … they say that there’s the marriage curse on Housewives and divorce that happens when they join, I think if you have a strong marriage, then that’s what stands the test of time.”
In May 2024, Dorit announced her separation from PK after nearly a decade of marriage. Nearly one year later Us confirmed that Dorit officially filed for divorce.

2011
While the pair were both living in New York, they randomly met at a local restaurant where they quickly hit it off.
“We went out and have been inseparable from that first night,” the Bravo personality recalled to Wedding Style magazine in March 2015.
February 2014
The couple welcomed their first child together, son Jagger.
March 2015
The pair got married on March 7 at Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room in New York City. Since both PK and Dorit had a “penchant and fondness for the roaring 20’s,” that served as their nuptial theme, she explained via Instagram in 2021.
In her post, she called the Great Gatsby-inspired event a “magical evening,” which was “filled with so much love” and was “a night I’ll never forget.”
December 2016
Less than one year after tying the knot, Dorit became the newest Housewife to appear on RHOBH, joining the show during its seventh season.
“PK’s cool. He likes it. He likes the thrill of it,” Dorit told Bravo’s Daily Dish in January 2017 about joining the iconic franchise. “As far as the negative attention, he just says, ‘Oh, who cares? We are who we are. The people that know us, know us. We don’t really have anything to really worry about in that regard.'”

Two years later after welcoming Jagger, the reality TV star gave birth to daughter Phoenix.

“I couldn’t do any of it without you. Happy Valentines Day my love. ❤️ I love you forever and always,” she captioned a selfie of the couple for the loved-up holiday.

“The universe gives each of our souls a twin which is a reflection of our own souls,” Dorit explained via an Instagram birthday tribute, calling PK her “twin soul” in the caption. “No matter how far apart these souls are separated, they will always find their way to one another. Happy birthday to … my happy place, my foundation, my rock, my extraordinary husband and my best friend. I can’t wait to celebrate you today and always. ❤️🍾🎉😘🎂 I love you with my whole heart and soul- forever.”

While gushing over the pair’s fifth wedding anniversary, Dorit referred to the British talent manager as her “endless love.”
“5 years ago today we sealed our love under the chuppah in front of our closest friends and family, and even though we had already started our family, shared nearly 5 beautiful years together by then, and had our son Jagger, it remains one of the happiest days of my life,” she captioned an Instagram montage. “To be married to you is a blessing in the purest form. Sharing my life and my heart with you has been the most wonderful decision I ever made. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you with all my heart bubba.”

As a growing family, the RHOBH cast member has continued to share domestic moments with their little ones and gushing about her husband as a father.
“Happy Father’s Day to the man of my heart, the father of our children, the love of my life,” Dorit wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thank you for all the ways you go above and beyond every day for our family. I’m so grateful to be sharing life, love and parenthood with such an amazing man like you. We love you so, so much. 👨👩👧👦🤗❤️🎁😘🥂🙌🏼🥰”
August 2021
In honor of PK’s 54th birthday, she posted a sweet tribute to her love: “My darling PK, you are my heart, my soul, my treasure, my today, my tomorrow, my forever, and my everything. When you wake up, I’ll be asleep, and it will be the first (and hopefully the last) birthday in 10 years that I’m not waking up by your side- but, we very much look forward to celebrating with you when we’re all together again. Happy birthday my love- I love you to the moon and back and around the stars.”
October 2021
The swimsuit designer made headlines on October 27 after she was robbed at gunpoint in her California home.
“As you all know by now, I have been through a terrifying ordeal, one that no parent or person should ever have to experience,” Dorit shared via Instagram several days later. “I’ve received so many messages of love and support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s truly overwhelming. My kids are unaware of what happened, they slept through it and I thank God for keeping my kids and myself from being physically harmed.”
She continued at the time: “My family now needs to start the healing process. I have thrown myself straight back into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible.”
October 2022
During an appearance at BravoCon, their RHOBH costar Erika Jayne speculated that Dorit and PK would be the next Housewives couple to call it quits. Dorit swiftly shut down the claim. “Misery loves company. What else can [I] say 🤷🏼♀️,” she wrote via Instagram comment. “Our friends, those that truly know us, know what we have and who we are.”
Erika later said she was joking when she made her comment.
July 2023
Dorit cuddled PK, Jagger and Phoenix while celebrating her birthday at an informal family dinner.
October 2023
Dorit and PK denied split reports after In Touch claimed they are “living separate lives” and published a photo of PK without his wedding ring. The couple admitted they have “had some challenging years” but “remain committed” to working through their issues together. “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so,” they said in a joint statement shared via social media. “Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”
Multiple sources told Us, meanwhile, that PK has been staying in a hotel in Los Angeles. “They both agree it’s the right thing to do,” one insider added. “It’s been a rough period for them. They want to say on amicable terms whether they stay together or not.”
May 2024
Dorit announced the pair’s separation in a statement, which read, “We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.”
She continued: “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”
November 2024
Ahead of the RHOBH season 14 premiere, Dorit gave Us an exclusive update on what it was like to film amid her and PK’s separation.
“Things don’t stay amicable between PK and I, and it was a big shock to me,” Dorit teased to Us. “Don’t forget, we had just separated when I filmed the show. Now here we are, some months later.”
Dorit added that despite tension, the pair have been focusing on “communication” which allowed them to reach a better place in their estranged relationship.
January 2025
As Dorit began the New Year the Housewife confessed that she and PK were still in the “same place” from when they announced their separation.
“There is movement but it’s just not forward — it’s left to right. I’d love to go forward, and I’m consistently trying to advocate for that,” she said during the RHOBH After Show. “Ask me in another six months. Hopefully, I’ll have a better answer.”
February 2025
During an episode of RHOBH season 14, Dorit claimed to receive a “seven-page email” about finances and custody arrangements.
“His expectations were within a month or two that I will be responsible for the mortgage and all the bills associated with the house,” Dorit alleged. “There was also discussion of custody, lawyers and threats of, if this doesn’t happen, I will be proceeding with divorce.”
April 2025
Us confirmed that Dorit filed for divorce. In the paperwork, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Dorit also asked for sole legal and physical custody of their children, Jagger and Phoenix and requested spousal support.
