Influencer Splits of 2026: Jess Val Ortiz and More Content Creators

Some influencers decided to part ways with their significant others in 2026.

Days after the New Year, news broke that content creator Kristy Scott filed for divorce from husband Desmond Scott after 11 years of marriage. In her filing, Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason for their split and noted that there is no chance of reconciliation for the pair.

Weeks later, influencer Brynne Marie announced her separation from Mario Mirante. The pair, who were together for nearly two years, cohost the “Pretty Funny” podcast.

TikToker Jess Val Ortiz announced her own breakup from Alexei Mitchell in late January, sharing a video that showed the two sides of a split. WeWoreWhat fashion influencer Danielle Bernstein, meanwhile, revealed days later that she called off her engagement less than one year after the proposal.

“I’ve been quiet about my personal life and wasn’t ready to speak on it until now,” Bernstein explained to her followers. “We’re stepping away from our relationship with love and respect.”
The fashion influencer added, “There’s no big dramatic reason — sometimes it’s simply not the right forever. I’m not sure what the future holds, but this choice took courage.”

For our ‘Pretty Funny’ community, I love you all so much. I’m so lucky that I was able to be a part of something that meant so much to so many of you,” she continued. “If you’re struggling with mental health, please do not wait to get help. Jensen Savannah Nichol shared on January 23 that she and Jorge Millares had split.
“Hey y’all. I know many of you have noticed it’s just been me lately. I’ve received a lot of kind messages and questions which is why I wanted to share this once, clearly,” Nichol wrote via Instagram at the time. “My husband, who I was with for nine and a half years, and I have been separated since November 1st.”
She continued, “I truly hoped this would be an amicable transition, but it hasn’t unfolded the way I expected, which has made this season more difficult than I anticipated. I understand that some recent public posts may have raised questions or made this feel sudden. I’ve been navigating this privately during this season.”
Nichol shared that she’s “truly grateful for the kindness and support” that “so many” people have shown for her. “This chapter has been about growth, grounding and choosing peace,” she concluded.
“Thank you all for being here.” Nichol added in the caption, “I’m not sharing details beyond this, but I appreciate the kindness, privacy, and respect in this space 🤍.”

Avery Katherine Wood shared in an emotional TikTok video on January 12 that she and Carson Cope had split.
“Carson and I had to make a very [grown-up] decision to go our own separate ways. This was a very hard decision,” she said. “He is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. And the hardest part about this is that we both love each other so much.”
In Wood’s perspective, she and Cope’s lives are “not currently aligned how they used to be.”
“We fell in love when we were 15, and we were just two pieces of cardboard,” she said. “And then over time, we became puzzle pieces, and our puzzle pieces just don’t fit. And that is not him. That is not me. It is both of us together.”
