Khloe Kardashian Reacts to AI Videos of Late Dad Robert Kissing Her

Khloé Kardashian has a few unique reasons why she is “terrified” of AI.

“I’m sure people think it’s sweet, but even the AI videos of my dad [Robert Kardashian] kissing me on my forehead or something, that sort of freaks me out a little bit,” Khloé, 41, said on the Wednesday, February 25, episode of the “Khloé In Wonder Land” podcast. “I can’t explain it. I know people are doing it cuz they think it’s so nice, but that’s just weird. I don’t know why. It weirds me out.”

Robert died in September 2003 from esophageal cancer at the age of 59. Khloé was just 19 when she lost her father.

According to The Kardashians star, there are several AI videos being created that impact many members of her family.

Kardashian Family’s Most Heart-Wrenching Quotes About Robert Kardashian

“With the advancement of AI, I’ll see videos of my sisters and be like, ‘Wait, did you really say this?’ And when I’m questioning it, nine out of 10 times, it’s not them,” she admitted. “It’s AI. That’s so f***ing scary.”

Khloé said the family will flag stuff to creators and tell them, “This is not real. You have to remove this.” While many take it down, the podcast host still finds the whole thing “weird.”

“I am terrified of AI because I am of that internet cusp,” she explained. “The internet was already scary enough for me. I can’t handle another thing. Even Chat GPT. I’m not talking to you because you’re going to remember everything I’m saying and I heard it can be used against you in court. I’m not dealing with that.”

While Khloé acknowledged that there are some “awesome” tools out there, she can’t imagine how overwhelming it can be for the older generation, like her grandma, Mary Jo Campbell.

“My grandma is 91 and I can’t imagine what she thinks about all this craziness,” Khloé said. “She has an Instagram just to look at all of us and see what we’re doing. I can’t imagine what she thinks.”

During her latest podcast episode, Khloé also revealed her thought process on social media when it comes to her kids, True, 7, and Tatum 3.

At this time, she doesn’t believe the children she shares with ex Tristan Thompson should be on Instagram, X or other platforms.

“My daughter will be like, ‘I want to film a TikTok.’ They don’t know what TikTok is because I never talk about TikTok,” she explained. “They think that means a dancing video, and so we’ll just film dancing and that’s them dancing on my tables and just having fun. But, they don’t know about, like, trending sounds unless I show them something.”

As for when her oldest child could get a phone, Khloé is open to the idea once True turns 12 in 2030.

“That doesn’t mean she’ll get social media. That means she gets a phone,” she explained. “I don’t think kids should have social media until, I mean, I would love 16 [or] 17, but a phone we’re discussing on her 12th birthday.”

Khloé added, “I think my hope for my kids is that they will always desire to have that human interaction.”
