Celebrity Splits of 2026: Haylie Duff, Kimora Lee Simmons and More

A slew of breakups rocked the celebrity world throughout 2026, beginning with Bill Hader and Ali Wong in January.

That same month, The Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon announced that she’d recently split from her boyfriend.

In March, NFL quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, called it quits.

News broke in April that The Real Housewives of New York City stars Sai De Silva and her husband, David Craig, were calling it quits after almost a decade of marriage. Janel Parrish and husband Chris Long split later that month, as did athletes Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe. Tennis pros Ashley Harkleroad and Chuck Adams also split after 16 years of marriage. Haylie Duff and her longtime partner, Matt Rosenberg, called off their engagement later in the month.

Haylie Duff and Matt Rosenberg
Haylie Duff’s spokesperson confirmed to TMZ on April 20 that she and former fiancé Matt Rosenberg recently called off their engagement and are no longer together. Duff asked fans for privacy in the wake of her breakup.
Duff and Rosenberg welcomed daughters Ryan, 10, and Lulu, 7, during their 14-year relationship.

Kimora Lee Simmons and Tim Leissner
Us Weekly obtained court documents on April 20 showing that Tim Leissner filed for divorce in a Los Angeles Superior Court in February, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for his split from Kimora Lee Simmons.
Leissner sought spousal support from Simmons and asked the court to block his estranged wife from receiving any support from him. He also requested that Simmons pay his legal fees.
Us reached out to Simmons’ representative for comment.
In February, Leissner began serving a two-year prison sentence for conspiring to launder money and conspiring to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). The Justice Department accused Leissner of involvement in a money-laundering scheme regarding the Malaysian government’s state-owned investment and development fund, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Chuck Adams filed for divorce from Ashley Harkleroad after 16 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split according to docs obtained by Us Weekly. The pair were both former tennis players who wed in 2009.

Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe
Pro athletes Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe announced on April 17 that they had broken up after a decade together.
“There really is no smooth or easy way to share this news. After a lot of thought, we’ve made the decision to separate as a couple,” Bird and Rapinoe wrote in a joint Instagram statement. “This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s one we’ve made together with so much love, respect and care for each other.”
 Bird and Rapinoe, who confirmed their relationship in 2017, got engaged in 2020.

Shannon Elizabeth and Simon Borchert
News broke on April 16 that Shannon Elizabeth quietly filed for divorce from husband Simon Borchert after tying the knot in 2021. The American Pie actress’ separation news came one day after she announced she was joining OnlyFans at the age of 52.

Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman
Love on the Spectrum couple Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman went their separate ways after five years together, according to multiple reports on April 9.
The pair had fallen in love after originally meeting on a blind date during the Netflix show’s first season and became a fan favorite as the series documented their love story over the three subsequent seasons.

Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik and Tess McCracken broke up in January after nearly 10 years of dating, confirming the news months later on April 4.
“I wasn’t really trying to hide it in the first place, but it’s weird to have to announce your breakup,” she said. “There wasn’t any drama, there wasn’t some big, blow-up fight where one of us stormed out, there wasn’t any cheating [and] neither of us came out as gay.”

Sydney Errera announced on February 24 that she and Farmer Wants a Wife star Mitchell Kolinsky called it quits after finding love on season 2 of the reality show two years prior.
“I can confidently say that Mitchell and I gave our relationship 110 percent, more than I’ve ever given anything in my life,” Errera said in a TikTok video, noting the exes parted ways a few months earlier. “Mitchell and I are on good terms, we’re friendly, and there’s no bad blood between us. I obviously still have love for him, he still has love for me, and hopefully we can just move forward nicely.”

The Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim confirmed his split with Jessica Vargas on February 15, sharing a black-and-white photo of the pair and writing via his Instagram Story, “We’re no longer boyfriend and girlfriend … but still love each other and still best friends.”
Vargas reposted the snap and added, “Love you J & may this type of friendship find us all.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Britani Bateman announced her split from on-again, off-again boyfriend Jared Osmond on February 9. Bateman shared a video montage of her happier times with Osmond while confirming their breakup.
“Goodbye Baby. You are loved 🦄. I’m walking away from something and someone I truly love. My heart is broken 💔,” she captioned the Instagram video. “For anyone who has wondered why I kept going back to Jared. There was real love there. ❤️.”
The Bravo star concluded: “Jared, goodbye. You’ll always have the most special place in my heart and you really were the love of my life.”
Osmond exclusively told Us at the time that he’ll love Bateman “forever,” but he was “alarmed” to see her video tribute about the end of their relationship.
“I want to bless her life. I want to love her and grow old with her and be a man that is there for her and her family, and this is very heartbreaking to see yet again her run and due largely because of fear,” he added. “She really has been my best friend, and it’s confusing. But I love her and wish her nothing but the best.”

The Handmaid’s Tale star Samira Wiley and her wife, Lauren Morelli, announced their breakup on January 29.
“After nine years together we have decided to end our marriage,” they wrote in a joint statement shared with Out magazine. “However, our lifelong commitment to coparenting will forever remain.”
The pair, who wed in 2017, welcomed daughter George in 2021.

The statement continued, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

One Tree Hill alum Tyler Hilton announced on January 16 that he and Secret Life of the American Teenager child star Megan Park separated after 10 years of marriage.
“Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage,” Hilton wrote via Instagram. “We continue to make the kids and coparenting the priority. Thanks for continuing to respect our privacy.”

“After much thought and mutual respect, we have decided to end our marriage,” the actor told the outlet. “During our time together we shared meaningful moments, but have chosen to go our separate ways. I ask for privacy and wish her nothing but love and happiness moving forward.”

A source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that Captain Kerry Titheradge recently broke up with Gönül Bihan after six years together.
“Captain Kerry is back on the market,” the insider shared. “He ended it right before the new year and she moved out of their shared Florida house recently.”

Kristy and Desmond Scott
Us Weekly confirmed on January 10 that TikTok star Kristy Scott filed for divorce from her husband, Desmond Scott, on December 30, 2025, after almost 12 years of marriage. The documents specified that there was no hope of reconciliation and that the former couple “will soon stop living together as husband and wife.” (TMZ reported that Kristy cited alleged infidelity as the reason for their split. Desmond and Kristy share two sons: Vance and Westin.)
Desmond broke his silence later that same day when he admitted via Instagram that he’d made “choices that I am not proud of” while working through the split.
“I want to begin by apologizing to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation,” Desmond wrote via his Instagram Story. “I know this news has been disappointing for many, and I’m truly sorry for the hurt it has caused.”
He continued, “Kristy is the mother of my children, and that will always come first. I remain fully committed to being an active, present, and loving parent to our boys, as I have always been.”
Kristy and Desmond met when they were teenagers and got married in 2014. Although they frequently appeared on each other’s social media over the years, Kristy last posted content with Desmond in December 2025.

Kelly Bensimon and Her Boyfriend
The RHONY alum announced on her “I Do Part 2” podcast in October 2025 that she’d recently started a “private” romance with “a wildly kind, very thoughtful girl dad.” However, Kelly Bensimon used the same forum on January 8 to reveal that she ended the relationship because her partner couldn’t “show up” when she needed him.
“I have a lot of bandwidth, and then, sometimes I just snap. I had some health issues last year, and I was going through a lot of things personally,” Bensimon confided in her listeners. “It really made me see what I wanted in my romantic life, and how I wanted to navigate that and move forward into 2026.”

People reported on January 7 that the former Saturday Night Live cast member and the Emmy Award-winning comic were going their separate ways. An insider told the publication that Bill Hader and Ali Wong had trouble making their relationship a priority because of their very busy schedules.
This was not the first time the former couple separated. Hader and Wong were previously together in 2022 but pressed pause on their relationship that December.
Us Weekly reached out to reps for Hader and Wong for comment.
