Chrisley Knows Best alum Lindsie Chrisley is speaking out after being arrested for an alleged DUI.
Multiple outlets confirmed that Chrisley, 36, was arrested in Georgia on Saturday, May 23, for DUI less safe, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding. In Georgia, DUI less safe means that a person can face charges of driving under the influence even if their blood alcohol concentration is below 0.08 percent.
The Cherokee County Jail confirmed to People that the former reality star was booked that night and released after posting bond on Sunday, May 24.
Cherokee County Jail confirmed that Chrisley’s bail was set at $1,355 for the DUI less safe, $680 for improper passing, $565 for reckless driving and $2,006 for speeding.

Chrisley later broke her silence in a statement, telling TMZ, “I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.”
Chrisley noted that she planned to “fight the charge.”
Lindsie is the daughter of TV personality Todd Chrisley and ex-wife Teresa Terry. Todd and his second wife, Julie Chrisley, recently faced their own legal woes after they were found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax fraud in 2022. They were released in May 2025 following a full pardon from President Donald Trump.
Lindsie’s arrest, meanwhile, comes one month after she filed a protective order against her boyfriend, David Landsman.
Court documents obtained by Us Weekly noted that Lindsie and Landsman were in a relationship for approximately two years until he was arrested in April for aggravated assault, strangulation and battery.
The pair were allegedly involved in an altercation, with Landsman becoming “verbally aggressive” over a photo he found on Lindsie’s phone. Landsman reportedly “apologized for his behavior” but then “became agitated and aggravated” again.
Landsman allegedly “strangled” Lindsie “multiple times.”
“[Lindsie] punched [Landsman] near his eyebrow to get him to stop strangling her,” the docs noted. “[Landsman] grabbed [Lindsie] by the throat again and opened the door and threw her outside. [Lindsie] hit her head on the concrete. At this point, [Lindsie] was able to leave [Landsman]’s home.”

Landsman called authorities to make a report against Lindsie, according to 911 audio obtained by TMZ. Authorities later met Lindsie at her house and examined “injuries on her neck and her head.”
“Law enforcement noted that [Lindsie] had lacerations on her head from being thrown onto the ground and noted marks on [Lindsie]’s neck from being strangled,” the paperwork read.
The documents also detailed a prior incident which involved Landsman allegedly holding Lindsie “down on the ground” before putting “his foot on her ankles to keep her from being able to leave.” Lindsie claimed Landsman had strangled her “multiple other times.”
Neither Landsman nor Lindsie have publicly addressed the claims.
