Kaley Cuoco moved on with Tom Pelphrey less than one year after she filed for divorce from equestrian Karl Cook.
Before she began dating Pelphrey, Cuoco announced her separation from Cook in September 2021 after three years of marriage. She was previously married to Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016.
In April 2022, Cuoco told Glamour that she wasn’t interested in getting married again after two divorces. “I believe in love because I’ve had incredible relationships. I know that they’re out there. I like being someone’s partner and having that companionship,” she explained.
Two years later, however, Cuoco announced her engagement to Pelphrey, with whom she shares daughter Matilda. The pair announced in June 2026 that they’re expecting baby No. 2.

“We have the same manager, this is a very Hollywood story I know,” Cuoco said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon while promoting her rom-com, Meet Cute.
“My manager was submitting different clients and asked me if I knew who Tom was, and she goes, ‘Side note, he’s single,'” the actress recalled. However, Cuoco wasn’t ready for a relationship and forgot about the exchange.
“So the months had gone on and we’d never met, and I was promoting Flight Attendant with that same manager, who is his manager. [She asked,] ‘I’m going to the Ozark premiere. Do you want to come with me?'” she explained. “So I got all dressed up and I was standing there. I was at the bathroom and I was waiting and I hear this voice — it was Tom — and he’s like ‘Where’s this Kaley?'”

The insider noted that the duo “are the first to admit” their romance has “been a real whirlwind,” but they’re happy with how their partnership has developed. “They’re two incurable romantics who fell in love at first sight,” the source explained. “The relationship has evolved quickly but in a very deep and meaningful way, and they’ve got no doubts at all that they’re soulmates who belong together.”

The couple got engaged after more than two years of dating. “Amazing weekend,” Cuoco captioned an Instagram Story pic of herself and Pelphrey, in which she flashed a diamond engagement ring.

Cuoco revealed that she and Pelphrey sleep in different bedrooms, calling it the “best decision” they ever made.
“Tom is a night owl. Goes to bed very late,” she explained during an appearance on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast. “I go to bed earlier because I’m the one who gets up [with Matilda] in the morning. … We’re totally on different sleeping schedules.”
Cuoco said Pelphrey asked her during a couples therapy session, “How would you feel if I sleep in the other room?”
Though Cuoco was initially against the idea, she came around to it after they tried it once.
“He sleeps great. No dogs in his way,” she continued. “I’m up with Matilda at 7 a.m., she comes in bed with me, I can turn things on. We don’t have to worry about waking him up. … It just works for us.”

Cuoco announced that she and Pelphrey are expecting baby No. 2 by sharing a series of family photos and baby bump snaps via Instagram while revealing their future child’s sex.

Pelphrey and Cuoco turned the 2026 Emmy Awards into a parents’ date night, with the Big Bang Theory alum showing off her baby bump in a blush pink gown.
While accepting his first-ever Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in Task, Pelphrey gave Cuoco and his growing family a sweet shout-out.
“[To] my favorite actor in this room — my love, my best friend, my partner … the very pregnant Kaley Cuoco,” he said as Cuoco began to tear up. “I love you more than anything, and our family is the crown jewel of my life.”
Pelphrey also mentioned Matilda and their unborn baby girl, adding, “Daddy loves you. Baby girl in that belly, Daddy loves you. Thank you, God bless.”
