Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly hit the west coast as their rumored romance continues to heat up.
Footage shared by DeuxMoi showed Johnson, 37, and MGK, 36, reportedly making their way through Los Angeles speakeasy and cocktail lounge Say Yes on Wednesday, October 14. In the footage, the rapper can be seen greeting a passer-by as he and Johnson visited the trendy venue.
MGK (real name Colson Baker) seemingly tried to stay lowkey in all black, with a hoodie partially covering his face. Meanwhile, Johnson went for a black leather jacket over a cropped white tee and dark pants.
Say Yes promises patrons a “captivating journey to the early 1920s Hollywood Golden Era,” with various shades of gold trimming the “meticulously restored” building.

Guests can buy a liquor locker membership, allowing them to pre-purchase their favorite bottle for future visits. Live entertainment and a haberdashery store only heighten the”old Hollywood” vibe at the speakeasy, which opened earlier this year.
Us exclusively reported in September that Johnson and MGK hit it off on a date in New York City, where they spent some time together at Taylor Swift‘s swanky apartment. The two apparently connected at Swift and husband Travis Kelce‘s wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3.
“Dakota contacted [her friend] Taylor, and Taylor said she wasn’t home, so they could use her place,” an insider confirmed to Us. “Apparently, Taylor lets her close friends use her place when she’s away.”
Since that time, the potential couple have been spotted on a few more romantic outings, including turning heads at the Vogue World: Milano runway show for Milan Fashion Week. (Johnson watched from the audience as MGK hit the runway in an orange Byblos jumpsuit during the Vogue World presentation.)
A second source revealed weeks later that Johnson and MGK’s relationship has been progressing very quickly.
“They are seriously dating and their relationship has moved quickly since they met at Taylor [Swift]’s wedding,” the insider exclusively told Us in late September. “There was an instant spark and they have been keeping in touch, talking and FaceTiming every day for the last month.”
The source added, “Everyone knew this was actually serious when Dakota traveled to support Colson in Milan. Dakota has a thing for musicians and is a hopeless romantic. Colson has this charm about him, which she was drawn to and she is really into him.”
However, Us learned that some of Johnson’s friends have “questioned whether Colson is the right fit for the kind of life she ultimately wants” given MGK’s rockstar lifestyle.

“Dakota really wants to settle down and start a family,” the insider added. “They are having a lot of fun right now, getting to know each other.”
The musician is a father to two daughters — 17-year-old Casie, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon, as well as his and former fiancée Megan Fox‘s 19-month-old baby, Saga. MGK and Fox, 40, were together on and off for several years before splitting in late 2024.
Johnson is recently out of two high-profile romantic relationships with pop stars, having been with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin from 2017 to 2025 and then briefly dating Role Model earlier this year.
Speaking to Vogue in September, Johnson poked fun at her history of dating musicians.
“They like me. I don’t know what to say,” she joked. “And I like them.”
The 50 Shades of Grey actress quipped that there are “a lot” of downsides to dating rockers because they can be “tricky motherf***ers.”
“I’ve worked back-to-back for so long that now I have this deep calling to shift my perspective a bit and maybe have a bit more of a real life,” she added. “I’ve been gone for, like, 20 years. The people in my life are so used to me leaving for months at a time.”
