Jen Affleck has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, Zac Affleck, just days before The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County premieres.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Jen, 27, reportedly filed a Tuesday, November 3, petition for divorce in Utah, where the pair wed. The Hulu reality star also submitted a proposed parenting plan, though the details of the filing are private.
The court records do not reveal the reason behind the breakup or Jen’s requested custody arrangements.

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jen and Zac Affleck’s Relationship Timeline
The couple — who announced in June that they are expecting baby No. 4 — met on the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018 before getting engaged. They ultimately got married in 2019.
Jen and Zac’s love story was first put on display for the world to see when The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered in September 2024. Since then, Hulu cameras have documented the pair struggling to keep their marriage strong and healthy.
Starting November 12, viewers will get another front-row seat into the state of their relationship when Jen appears on the spinoff show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.
“We were so vulnerable, and we shared everything about our religion and our life and our marriage,” Zac said on a May 2025 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “I honestly think we went a little bit naive into the show — just not really knowing what to expect or what reality TV even is.”
Jen, however, always viewed reality TV as a way to confront life’s problems and make a change for the better.

“Sometimes you just feel called to something and you can’t explain why,” she detailed. “It’s not easy being vulnerable as a Mormon and showing what actually happens sometimes in Mormon relationships. I feel like we’re doing the hard thing but doing the right thing by exposing what actually happens.”
In a recent interview with People, Jen admitted that her marriage wasn’t as strong as she had hoped. At the same time, she remained hopeful that better days were ahead as she got used to life in Southern California.
“It’s been a lot the past couple of months, I’ll be honest,” Jen revealed to the publication in August. “But I do feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and just trying to count my blessings every single day.”
