Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb’s relationship has flown under the radar for years — and there are no signs of it fizzling out.
The pair have been inseparable for more than a decade after meeting in the lobby of Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California, in October 2007 — while Rockwell was filming Frost/Nixon and Bibb was waiting to have dinner with friends.
The couple’s relationship has continued to thrive as the duo costarred in numerous films. They both appeared in 2010’s Iron Man 2, 2015’s Don Verdean and 2017’s The Dark of Night. Through it all the lovebirds have gushed about each other and their separate successes, walking side by side at awards shows and movie premieres.

2007
Rockwell and Bibb met in October 2007 at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood while he was filming Frost/Nixon. The Confessions of a Dangerous Mind actor then took Bibb on a day-long date to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles and they’ve been together ever since.
May 2010
The pair appeared in 2010’s Iron Man 2 together. Rockwell joined the cast as Justin Hammer, while Bibb reprised her role from the first film as Christine Everhart.
November 2012
The lovebirds put their romance on display by adding a lock with their names on it to the love lock bridge in Paris in November 2012.
December 2014
The Confessions of a Shopaholic actress supported her man at the Tommy Hilfiger Honors Sam Rockwell at GQ Men of New York event in December 2014.
January 2015
The couple promoted their film Don Verdean at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Utah in January. In the movie, Rockwell played the lead, Don Verdean, a biblical archeologist, and Bibb portrayed Joylinda Lazarus.

The couple traveled to Italy in September 2017, which Bibb documented via her Instagram.

The Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri star thanked his “beloved” partner Bibb “who puts up with me” in his SAG Awards speech in January 2018. He later gushed to Us about what he adores most about his longtime love, saying, “She’s my beloved. She keeps me laughing and we take care of each other. She’s really talented and funny herself. She reminds me of a young Mary Tyler Moore.”

The couple shared their secret to a successful relationship while walking the 2018 SAG Awards red carpet in January 2018. “Communication,” Rockwell told Giuliana Rancic. Bibb added: “Good sex!” Rockwell echoed his partner’s answer adding, “Communication and good sex,” to which Bibb replied, “And a healthy sense of humor.”

The F Is for Family star exclusively told Us in June 2018 what his relationship rule is with Bibb. “We have a two-to-three-week rule and then we see each other,” he explained. “Then you get too independent if it’s four weeks, five weeks.” The Oscar winner also revealed why his relationship works with the actress, saying they both “have a sense of humor” and “we just look after each other.”

“We’re not trash people, we coordinate,” Bibb joked while attending the 2019 Golden Globes with her love in matching ensembles. She then gushed about Rockwell’s performance in Vice, telling Access Hollywood, “He’s so good. I’m just astounded by this man. I really think Sam is one of the best actors we have right now. This is about you. You are amazing.”

During an interview with Mr. Porter in January 2020, the Jojo Rabbit actor gushed about Bibb and her current projects. “She has been working her ass off,” he told the publication. “She’s shooting here now [in L.A.], and she’s been in Toronto on her Netflix show [Jupiter’s Legacy]. Bibb opened up about her thoughts on marriage during a cohosting stint on TODAY With Jenna and Friends, revealing that she and Rockwell have no plans on getting married after 18 years together.
“I mean, listen, I love Sam Rockwell, I would put him in my pocket and carry him with me all the time, I love him. I do not want to get married,” Bibb said on the June 16 episode. “I feel like we are married.”
Bibb also discussed parenthood and how she doesn’t plan on becoming a mother. “I just don’t have that chip in me, “ she said. “One woman said to me, ‘You’re not a real woman unless you have a kid and I was, like, ‘OK, you don’t know the reason … if I can’t have kids, if I don’t want kids.’ I think being a mother is an amazing aspect of being a woman … it’s the hardest job and what women do, the balance … it’s just not in me.”
