The ghosts of the BFFs past. Jordyn Woods, Larsa Pippen, Joyce Bonelli and more former members of the Kardashian-Jenner family’s inner circle have spoken out about the end of their friendships with the famous family.
Monica Rose was among one of the first people to make headlines for a falling out with Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
After months of speculation, Kim confirmed in May 2017 that she no longer worked with the stylist, who was often featured in the background of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The KKW Beauty mogul told Andy Cohen that she quietly stopped using Rose’s services because then-husband Kanye West wanted to give her a makeover.
“I haven’t worked with her in maybe four years, so my reason is not connected to this. I will say that Kanye got me a new team and we kind of documented it. I think people think that’s the reason, and for me, maybe that is the reason,” Kim said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen at the time. “I just needed a new vibe. Why everyone else, you’re going to have to ask them, but for me, I wanted a new vibe. Kanye wanted to give me a makeover. But that wasn’t the reason my family … that was me years ago.”
Kim went on to play coy about why her sisters stopped following Rose on social media.
“I just wanted the change … [but] that’s not the reason [I unfollowed her], so you’d have to ask Khloé, and Kendall and Kylie, and the girls,” she quipped.
Not all of the Kardashian-Jenner family falling outs have been tied to their work, however. Taylor Swift, Woods and Pippen all had personal drama with different members of the group.

Larsa Pippen
In addition to having issues with West, Pippen revealed Kylie’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Travis Scott, made up a story about her. The former Bravo star also denied having an affair with Khloé’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
“Travis called Kylie and said that I was hitting on him. That never happened,” Pippen said. “So, then they were like, ‘Kanye says she’s this and then she was hitting on Travis.’ By the way, that never happened. I left with the same people I came with. That never freaking happened. I know he raps about being the highest in the f—king room. So clearly maybe he was the highest in the f—king room. He imagined all this s-t because it never happened.”
In January 2022, the Real Housewives of Miami star claimed they made amends.
“I feel like we’re in a really good place. You know, I feel like there was a lot [of] miscommunication at the time,” Pippen told Us. “We’ve all apologized to each other. We’re in a really good place.”
Three months later, Scott Disick was spotted hanging out on the beach with Pippen in Miami.
During an interview on Access Hollywood in December 2022, Pippen denied reports that she “dodged” Kim at Miami’s Art Basel, telling the outlet: “I never saw her at Art Basel so I have no idea what they’re talking about.”
The Peacock star added: “We’re cool, we’re friends. There’s no beef, there’s no bad situation. If I see her out obviously, we’re going to speak, it’s not what people want it to be.”
In January 2026, Kim shared a rare update on where things stand with Pippen.
“I love Larsa [and] I love her kids,” she said on an episode of the “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. “I think that was a transition when, I think, she was going through a divorce and Kanye and I were having some issues. It just, kind of, distanced ourselves and she moved to Miami, but I love her. Our kids go to school together. We’ll always have so many memories and so much love there.”
Jordyn Woods
Kylie’s longtime BFF was forced to move out of her home in February 2019 after news broke that Jordyn and Tristan kissed at a party. After the incident, which temporarily split up Khloé and the NBA star, Jordyn defended herself on Facebook Watch’s Red Table Talk. More than a year later, she reflected on the scandal that ended her close relationship with the Lip Kit mogul.
“I remember just sitting in a very dark place and I didn’t really … You know, I had my family to talk to, I had you to talk to but I felt like I had no one,” Woods said on Now With Natalie in 2020. “You take everything you think you know for a whole decade, the people you think you know, the life you think you know, everything that you’ve grown up doing and you take it all away from someone. I didn’t even know how to feel. … It’s easy to beat yourself up over things you could’ve done differently, but you can’t hold on to what you could’ve or should’ve done. You just have to accept what actually happened and then you can let it go. I think that letting go of shame is learning how to accept what’s happened.”
Jenner and Woods ultimately buried the hatchet when they were spotted at a joint dinner in July 2023.
Stephanie Shepherd
Us broke the news in November 2017 that Shepherd was no longer working as Kim’s assistant. While one source said there was “no bad blood” between them, a second source said Kim wasn’t happy after Shepherd was profiled by Refinery29’s celebrity inner circle series in May 2017. “Other stuff happened on top of that that left a bad taste in Kim’s mouth,” the source said.
In 2018, Kim said Shepherd “wanted to go in a different direction,” insisting they never feuded.
Kim and Shepherd proved to be over any drama in September 2021 when the Skims designer gifted her former employee a $25,000 Hermès Kelly bag for her birthday.
Taylor Swift
The singer struck up a surprising friendship with Kim and West in 2015, more than five years after he infamously interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs. It wasn’t long before they were on the outs again, however, after Kim leaked a conversation between Swift and West over the rapper’s 2016 track “Famous.” While the couple claimed he got permission to rap about Swift, the “You’re Not Sorry” songstress argued that she didn’t know about the specific line, “I made that bitch famous.”
Four years later, when their entire phone call leaked, a source told Us that Swift felt “vindicated” after years of backlash surrounding the drama.
“Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call,*” she wrote in March 2020 via Instagram. “You know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years … “SWIPE UP to see what really matters [and donate to Feeding America.]”
While the “Fearless” singer hasn’t made any public statements about burying the hatchet with Kim or West, the KKW Fragrance founder praised Swift’s music in December 2021.
“I really like a lot of her songs,” Kim said on the “Honestly With Bari Weiss” podcast. “They’re all super cute and catchy. I’d have to look in my phone to get a name.”
In January 2026, Kardashian also confirmed that she listens to Swift’s music. “I have some of her older songs in my playlist,” she revealed on a “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast. “I’ve always thought she was a super talented, great artist.”
Selena Gomez
Kendall and Kylie were tight with the “Rare” singer in 2014 until Gomez made waves by unfollowing the sisters on Instagram after attending Coachella together. Insiders told Us at the time that things got “messy” when Gomez felt “the Jenner girls were flirting” with her ex Justin Bieber “and his crew.” Khloé was then accused of throwing shade at the actress after reports surfaced that Gomez thought Kendall and Kylie weren’t good influences.
“You want to play in the 20 year old pool,” Khloé tweeted at the time. “Well I’m still in my 20s & I’m better at this game than you. Don’t f—k with my little sisters!”
Kendall and Gomez seemingly made amends with the latter attending the model’s 19th birthday party in November 2014. Over the years, the Only Murders in the Building star was photographed with Kris in 2015 and Kylie in 2018, but things got hazy when Gomez shared a photo sporting a black piece from Kim’s Skims line in 2019. After declaring the fit was “so freaking comfortable,” she deleted the upload and shared a supportive message for Swift (who still hasn’t publicly made up with Kim or West.)
“My ride or die I would die for this one,” Gomez wrote. “Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better, human being. I’m on your side for life.”
Years later, the Jenner sisters — who are extremely tight with Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber — were both accused of helping Hailey throw shade at Gomez via TikTok in 2023. While Hailey denied her post with Kendall was directed toward Gomez, Kylie shut down speculation that she and Hailey came for the singer via a separate upload.
Joyce Bonelli
While the makeup artist attended West’s Sunday Service in 2019, there have been no other sides of a mended relationship between the Kardashians and Bonelli.
Monica Rose
Fans were convinced that Khloé dropped hints about her falling out with Rose in 2017. “What would you do if you found out a friend was stealing from you?” she tweeted at the time. “Would you cut off the friendship and let God handle it? Or would you go the legal route?”
Khloé never revealed who she was referring to.
Brittny Gastineau
Reports surfaced in 2011 that Kim and Kourtney’s BFF didn’t approve of the Selfish author’s marriage to Kris Humphries — and made that known. While Gastineau has popped up at Kardashian-Jenner events over the years, only Kourtney keeps up with the former socialite via Instagram.
Blac Chyna
Kim’s tight friendship with Chyna got complicated when Kylie started seeing the model’s ex Tyga, but it came to a halt when Chyna started dating Rob Kardashian. The pair, who went on to welcome daughter Dream in 2016, documented their tumultuous relationship on season 1 of Rob & Chyna. After the show was canceled and the family sided with Rob, Chyna took legal action. As of October 2020, she is still alleging her career was “permanently damaged” by the Kardashian-Jenner family.
“Blac Chyna will seek millions in compensatory and punitive damages from Kris, Kim, Khloé, and Kylie for defamation, intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage,” Chyna’s attorney, Lynne Ciani, said in a statement to Us at the time. “Chyna is ‘beyond thrilled’ that she will have her day in court.”
The trial began in April 2022 and included a series of allegations about Chyna threatening violence against Rob, which she denied or downplayed as a joke.
In May 2022, a Los Angeles jury found that Kim and her family did not unjustly harm the career of Chyna.
